Bro Finity, before u confuse urself and everybody else here, let me put it this way to u.

There's no such thing as a perfect bike. Whatever bike u buy, u win some, u lose some. Nobody here says the Pulsar is better than this bike or that bike. What we Pulsar riders say is we're happy with our ride, mainly bcos of it's low FC.

1st and foremost, ask urself what u look for in a bike. Speed? Low FC? Looks? Etc. And what kinda bike u prefer. Naked? Sports? Scooters? Cruisers? Scramblers? This will help u to focus ur search for a bike. Otherwise u'll be like shooting in the dark, not knowing where the target is.

Let me use an analogy. If u wanna have sushi, then y bother thinking whether u wanna go to McDonald's, BK, KFC, etc. Get what I mean?

i tink finity, u really got to ask urself wat type of bike u need. for me, i need a low fuel consumption bike, low maintenance. with that, honda wave easily fits wat i wan.

however, i travell 100+km a day. not practical to get a bike with samll fuel tank. moreover, pulsar is a much more stable bike and go in msia pump petrol also worth the effort n time :D

No more regrets.

Cause i buying bike just for work, n my distance to n fro = about 20km so no nid for me to consider fc bike.

Dun be so certain, bro! A round trip to ur CURRENT workplace may be 20km, but u aint gonna work there forever. And once u get ur bike, u think u're gonna just ride it to work? U'll be itching to ride it, if not out of the need to, then just for the thrill of it (+ a bit of showing off lah, new bike mah!) Haha! Not to mention fetching ur gf who may be living at the other end of S'pore, then go jalan-jalan, then send her home, then u ride home. Phew!

I ride my bike mainly to work (only 10km per round trip). Yet I've clocked abt 1700km in abt 6 weeks. In return for my bike's low FC, I could afford to pamper her with Shell V-Power.

Dear All,

What are the latest comments on this bike (Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i) in terms of reliability, fuel consumption, handling, control and comfort? Old man thinking of one. The current model at Universal Motor is the 15L bike. Only red and silver available. Blue and black in 2-3 weeks time (just went today) Thanks. Cheers.

although it stated 15L, but i ever pumped 20.2 litre when its very near empty

No more regrets.

so brader paiseh, is the pic considered projection headlight too???

Is it possible to mod the cowl to just show the bulb??

hmmm...$5300..

wondering how much the shops at ubi would give???

n yeah Finity....

sure you would ride the bike to other places..

not just to and from work...

n if you're looking for a low fc bike with a huge tank...

then pulsar is for you..

you could then use the extra cash to mod your bike or like brader roadrunner has said, you could use the extra cash to give your bike the best petrol n EO.

S$5124 OTR inclusive of registration, transfer, 6 months road tax, 1 year 3rd party insurance, COE, ERP and bracket, and GST.

Trying to negotiate for S$5200 for 1 year road tax, 2 helmets, 2 sets of rain coats, and top box. But that is paying in full cash. Chances are good.

But how is the bike? Any comments much appreciated. Thanks. Cheers.
