Nowadays run in always at north area ... wanted to try east, south n west but no idea where got good n nice n safe place

For West area, u can go to Lim Chu Kang Road. The newer part (which the RSAF uses as an emergency runway for Tengah Air Base) is so wide and has hardly any traffic on it that u can do a giant slalom course at 60km/h while running-in! The older part is narrow (single lane) but again hardly any traffic.

If u wanna test ur Pulsar's suspension or its off-road capability, there's even the Jalan Bahtera Track that u can use :cheeky:

Did try once travel to loyang, end result.. Backside pain

It's just a matter of u getting used to riding ur Pulsar over long distances. For me, now no prob when riding from Bt Batok to Pasir Ris and back. But of course more tiring lah when still doing running-in cos take longer time to reach destination due to the slower speed.

Now that u've mentioned that, I do remember Alex telling me abt the Pulsar's seat .....

although CBR150 is a sportsbike, the position is quite comfortable and i tink it is more comfortable den pulsar's seat. CBR150 pillion's rear seat however is not as comfy as pulsar's pillion seat.

I've not tried 100km/h yet, but even at 90km/h my Pulsar didn't feel right. To me, 80km/h is the most comfortable cruising speed for my Pulsar.

ya man... hav u think to fix a damper? :cheeky:

It's the beginning of Lim Chu Kang Rd, starting from the junction of Jalan Bahar, Old Choa Chu Kang Rd and Lim Chu Kang Rd (refer to street directory). That's where the various cemeteries are. So dun go riding alone at night ah. U might just end up with an uninvited pillion taking a free ride on ur Pulsar :cheeky:

Damper is another bracket to hold on to the Fork n Main body. It will be more stable on high speed :cheeky:

 So Brader Z^^Kia have u selected the dates for the gathering ? So other than do bring ourselves n our pulsar, nid to bring any things such as foods, drinks etc ...

:weep: My poor bike ... she got a fall again ysterday due to my poor turning. Same thing happen ... speed too slow when making a turning ... bike fall ...

Went to yishun dam again ysterday @ about 2 am ... also feel very stress over there cause whenever i reached there all the eyes dont know why pin point at my direction ... feel so stress ... after parade my bike for 1 round ... as per normal make my trip home ...

hmmm times really flies hitting 800km either today or tomorrow ... means less run-in for me  because nvr got the manual at a early stage n my forgetfulness i always ride @ 60km/h so after getting manual then know can ride @ 65km/h ... well speed really can kill sia ... but now trying to maintan at 60km/h cause with another 5km/h i can really overtakes many vehicles in which i like riding recklessly ...

At 60km/h really dont like the rough feel ... @ 65km/h the roughness get more rough

Are u talking abt steering damper here? Or r there other types of motorcycle dampers?

From what I've read, the function of the steering damper is to absorb shocks and bumps (like extra suspension?), thus making the ride smoother.

To me, the instability of the Pulsar at 90km/h or more is not so much suspension-related cos the quality of our roads are ok. The Pulsar is, after all, still a 2B naked bike. So I think it's more due to wind resistance (not as heavy as 2A/2 bikes; not as aerodynamic as sportsbikes) and engine vibration (typical of single-cylinder engines).

So the question is, how much extra stability can a damper give to a 2B naked bike like the Pulsar? And is it worth the price? (a damper can easily costs a few hundred $, rite?)

Ya bro, to wat i know, for 2B bikes can get a Damper from LAB for hundred plus if i am not wrong, sure it can improve the riding at above 90km/hr .. the problem is where and wat damper can we use :cheeky:
