carb service, $18. and possible change your spark plug if u haven't change. good luck.

Well actually i am still riding @ 65km/h n also nvr being to malaysia by bike b4 so a bit nervous if really goin to makan there.

noob qn from a noob with no bike......

 

what engine oil do you guys use during running in?

is it true that during running in better to use mineral oil as that will make the pistons etc wear out nicely n give it a tight seal?

 

also, what tyre sizes do you guys use for your bikes?

what is the biggest size possible??

any other mods??

is installing a c.d.i. on a pulsar of any use?

By the way, I'm going to bring the bike for its second servicing next week (going to hit 1600km soon) anything I shld ask the mechanic to look into/check?

if possible ones that sell pulsar?

and their exact locations?

kos i can't seem to find them on singapore street directory.

Dude,

 

There are tonnes of bike shops lining Changi St (coming from Bedok). Try M1. Before I purchased my Pulsar I checked with them. Offered a good price and pretty friendly. Eventually, however, I didn't get it from them. Decided to get it directly from the distributor (Universal).

 

If you're seriously considering getting a Pulsar I recommend getting it from Albert motors. When I was at the Bajaj/Universal workshop servicing my bike I met another Pulsar rider and he told me they offer the best price. Too bad I had already purchased my Pulsar by then!!!!

 

Anyhoo, try your luck also check if the new version of Pulsar will be arriving in Singapore and if so when. Besides the cool looking digital speedometer it's got small improvements. I especially like the LED tail-light. Damn sexy!

i tink one brader mention something like dis.. digital speedo is cool.. but if it get damage or spoil.. will be more expensive to replace.

 

i also like the new digi speedo... head lights and tail lights.. mayb can replace the old ones with the new ones

true true bro waadee.....

some say if rain too heavily, then water will enter the speedo,

then mati lah, have to go repair already.

hope the new pulsar's speedo isn't like that.

someone here also mentioned the wiring involved....

if your wiring faulty also, die....

bro waadee, ever hear of ppl putting racing c.d.i's in their bikes...

read the cub threads and they're apparently doing it...

wonder if any pulsar peeps got do anot??

Brader cephelix if u worry alot maybe try Universal loh ... Go find David, he's a friendly guy n wont rush you to pay. I got it frm there ... btw i live in AMK but still go there because i knew tats the best or mayb the shop to buy my pulsar frm.

2nd hand..

very hard to find....

so far, i've only seen 1 guy sell his pulsar through the classifieds in this forum.

if there's a 2nd hand one i also want.....

 

pricing i'm not quiet sure...

must ask the more experienced riders.

just curious, not thinking of getting a sparks 135 or x-1?
