I guess u can add me to the list of Pulsar riders here! Purchase my Pulsar today. A silver one. Went Universal Motors at Bukit Merah there. Was quoted $5150 for the bike plus my insurance which was $697. So total bout $5.8k.

 

Receive large box, 2 helmet plus crash bar which i checked. So i asked him bout tat. I guess its suppose to come with the bike right. Anyway, im quite happy with the deal. Gonna collect my bike on Sat instead of tmr. Going rounding with my dad. He quite interested in the bike also. Well, he riding phantom la.....

Hmm....i did ask for a raincoat but didn get. Nvm la......quite a noobie too. The price he quoted inclusive of IU unit also, plus 3 free service but without free change of engine oil. The shop was more like a service centre rather than a showroom. So i guess they didn have much freebie to give except for helmets. Lousy ones i might say..

wow not bad,i only got-1 helmet,1 bike cover,free 3 times servicing of engine oil,2 second hand givi side box,IU.oing to ask for chain lube and rain coat also try my luck haha

hey freakzy....i guess u got a expensive deal...i bought my pulsar from Universal for 5.3k with one helmet + bike cover+ crash bar for free

Oh well.....sometimes u gain sometimes u lose. Anyway, both of us gain a pulsar of our own. So its all worth it. But thx for sharing with me. Guess i could have haggle a bit more harsher.

 

Picked up my bike today. It felt great. I know wat some of u meant by feeling of having a 6th gear. Its lacking in it. I feel a little regret putting a box cos the bike really look awesome without a box....I feel like riding a "mini" super 4.

ha.. don feel that way man, Price diff is manily cause By insurance. I think u r quite young thats y price abit high. :cheeky:

 

A box is quite good, can put lots of things :cheer:

Ya I agree. Since both bought from Universal, price difference could only be due to difference in insurance premium.

so braders hows the custom s4 belly pan coming?? any one got it going?? if one is already done den mayb we can get the prototype and just go some shop and duplicate it eh??

 

and i heard this place called seng kwang do custom stuff with steel for bikes.. got any idea if they can fabricate engine guards??

yo bros,

 

anyone here know how to adjust the rpm?? or must go shop and adjust. cos my idling speed is getting higher. and just go for servicing yesterday then the rpm is higher than ever....it about 1.5-1.7 and at 80km/h is at 6.4 like that. this is not normal leh for my bike....
