am planning to buy s4 buy what to look out for usually when buying guys?

check engine casing for cracks or leakage, same goes for coolant hose/radiator and make sure not so rusty as well, start bike shouldnt be any difficutly, idling preferably steady, try to take a slow ride shouldnt be any major vibration and make sure no jerking feeling when u brake...which can be spoiled disc brake like the bike i bought

Guys I'm looking to change to a S4. I was quoted 9k for FZ plate and 11k for FBA plate.. both is Spec III. Prices are OTR excluding insurance. Please advise if it is a good deal or not.. FBA plate S4 seems to be in a better condition than FZ plate.. and FBA plate mileage is around 30k+

i dun understand y ppl will go and buy those jacked-up prices S4 of previous spec, etc spec 2 and 3......

 

paying so much might as well spend a bit more for Revo, new technology, EFI, better material and quality, also must take into considerations like engine wear/tear, COE expiring date etc for used bikes.

Consider the fact it is newer, more responsive and smoother ride.

 

Take into fact you buying a carb S4 which is been abused for dunno how many yrs, worst still wifout proper care.

The money u need to set aside for wear & tears etc...........

 

Spec 3 wat i feel tat it has been marked up due to the price increase of Revo, better parts/quality, higher workmanship/production prices of Revo.

Do your calculations and see which one is worth it to buy, its personal preference.

 

IMO Carb Vtec models are way too overpriced
