wana hear LV roar la bro..

Was tired lah bro, my arms are sored after rock climbing and I'm sticky all over... Was rushing home to eat lunch with my wife. You live in Gombak area? Thats good maybe can meet for kopi one day if free.

About getting my bike to roar I thinks its not worth ur time lah bro... That darling of mine looks good only but not garang enough which still leaves me in dillemma wether to take out her silencer or not...

Believe it or not everytime I took my darling for servicing, my regular mechanic kept nagging and told me to removed the damn silencer as it's wasted not to unleash the beast within...

actually the mechanic at seng kwang told me,it's not necessary to change header, juz need to spend $200+ to change the short end of the header (the part that connects to the end can) and the effect will be like full system, wonder how true it is,anyone tried before?

i went to man exhaust to ask them whether can make the fake silecner nt.. they say cannot.. dunno say dunno lah say cannot den like dowan entertain...

car is car i guess.. but man exhaust did mod bike end cans.. stock ones luh for cheapos who want "act' but can afford to buy aft markets.. urrghh detest those ppl...

That's y a car's headers are not called headers like bikes but are called extractors...mayb to them its two different things...hu noes...i'd rather buy aftermarket rather than tempering with my stock end can...

dats true too.. but stock header rust mah...

Den after tat can derust mah...rite?:D :D

So that means we must cut that particular part and replaced with something new is it?

But going thru all those hassles, i rather get a spanking new headers... if i can spare the money lah. My headers getting faded i think, a bit unsightly, sore to the eyes.

But the alternative method that brudder William pointed out could be feasible. Just have to live with the bad header thats all

Will try lah bro see what I can do sometime end of next week. I can still recall the process when I first removed it. A guy came with his broom stick, unbolt my can and I hold it for him while he eeerrr.... insert the stick into the hole and did a vigorous push thus popping out the silencer... I also recalled he used a 50 cent coin and tape it at the end of the stick to assist in the push.

but wldnt it be weird dat the custom made part is SS but the ori header rusting?

True lor if we did cut that particular part and replaced it with another custom make stuff then wont it be back to square one where sounds great but sore to look at?

Previously u said tat dey claim the custom part will giv the effect of an aftermarket header...izit in terms of sound onli or both sound and performance? If sound onli, i'd rather invest in aftermarket headers...

i guess its senseless if bike loud but performance like crap like some malaysian kapchais. Sound can hear like 500m away but the time the bike pass by u 2mins has already passed(my personal opinion and no pun intended)......
