Free MX Riding Clinic at Tuas track 23 March

Larry Blair from New Zealand has volunteered to conduct a Motocross clinic for anyone and everyone at Tuas Circuit this Sunday 23 March. He is easily one of the fastest Motocross riders in Singapore and has raced for New Zealand in the Oceania team against Australia.

 

We are hoping for a large crazy turnout so we have arranged 8 assistant instructors, 2 of whom have represented Singapore in Asian Motocross Championships.

 

All are welcome, pit bikes, old bikes, trail bikes, SM bikes. 1st timers, juniors, newbies, gals. Even if you do not have a bike, you are welcome to sit in on the theory session.

 

9am - Classroom MX 101 using big whiteboard

-Bike setup

-Bike preparation

-Rider safety gear

-Race track safety

followed by

-Throttle control

-Counter steering/steering with throttle

-Braking(Front & Rear)

-Vision(where to look at, through the turns, etc)

-Body position(where to position yourself on bike, weighting the pegs,etc)

 

11am - Riding session breakout into groups

-Flat corners

-Berm corners

-Simple jumps/Tabletops

-Whoop de doos

 

1pm- Basic BBQ lunch with drinks

Donation box will be setup to help cover costs

 

So just show up before 9am with your MX gear(helmet, goggles,boots, gloves) and $30 for regular track usage and bring along an attitude to learn and have fun.
