i wonder how come most pple is looking for rear hugger. Does most of the SP1 & SP2 come with no hugger in the first place?

rc51 stock dun come with it, is a after market parts.

order fr bike shop i rather buy fr ebay, order fr bike shop have to wait at less a mth usually they say 6 weeks. buy fr ebay took less than a week and delivery to ur door step.

 

throttle body no mod needed but u have to purchase sp2 airbox as well.

better fuel intake and less throtkey *(dun noe how to spell ) , sp1 4 injector sp2 8 or 12 cant rem liao. theres a reason for honda to upgrade it.

I didnt start my vtr for a week and today battery wont start. Is it common for this bike? I got no accessories hooked up to the battery other than the iu. Appreciate any advise.

 

Anyway, I just bought a CTEK battery charger, now charging it and see if it works before buying a new battery. Battery,rectifier just bought by previous owner. I suspect its e starter, but it was able to crank but cannot start so I rule out the starter. I hope its just e battery turning too cold.

that's not suppose to happen... but i face problem when i hook up a new yuasa ytz10 battery. It crank up real well upon hooking up for the first time but after that i did not run the bike for a week, and when i wanted to stat my bike, it didn't crank at all, mind you it's a new battery. went back to the shop i bought the battery and was told it was due to overcharging... true or not i'm not quite sure, i changed to a cheaper battery and it works very fine till now. SO my take is when we change a new battery, we have got to run it in a few days for the battery to recharge itself in the bike... i could be wrong though... :-)

bro, they got no reason to saman us... the stock bike is only fitted by a rear mudguard cum nos plate holder...:-)

I'm not a techie guy myself... flapper valve removal i not sure how to remove... but mine is off my mech did it... :-)

lucky i just bought my single seater from xiaofire.

 

btw i got a question, the best idling setting for sp1 is how much rpm? right now my one is 0.9k to 1.0k rpm cold engine start after few sec went dead if i dun hold trottle abit. i can't figure out where to adjust my idleing valve. did saw 1 on the right but try to adjust seem like no changes.

I used to have the same problem wif u all.. after changing my exhausts den no such problem liao.. mostly is myself kena burn at the midpipe area... i set my idling at 1000rpm..
