btw i got a question, the best idling setting for sp1 is how much rpm? right now my one is 0.9k to 1.0k rpm cold engine start after few sec went dead if i dun hold trottle abit. i can't figure out where to adjust my idleing valve. did saw 1 on the right but try to adjust seem like no changes.

 

Recommended idling is 1300rpm... but diff ppl have diff likings...:-)

I used to have the same problem wif u all.. after changing my exhausts den no such problem liao.. mostly is myself kena burn at the midpipe area... i set my idling at 1000rpm..

 

I had a few scars on my leg too, my wife suffers most of the brunt as the stock SS midpipes gets very hot, maybe due to the stock pipes' inability to flow out the ehaust faster than aftermarket pipes. My problem resolved after changing to aftermarket pipes too.... :-)

i not sure how hot does stock do. cause i bought my bike already is aftermarket remus exhaust liao. to me the midpipe is damn hot for me. cause i able to feel it.

whao i can imagine... anyway i got to go bike shop later to tune my idleing... bth when cold start my RPM only only at 0.8k to 0.9k sure engine cut. must ask my mech to tune to 1k to 1.1k RPM at least. btw heard from my friend say idleing setting do affect our bike speed performance?

when u last sync ur throttle bodies ? 1.2k works well, i think works best with power commander.

i think gals like to sit rc51 as it virabrate alots ! it burn ppl who dun like them or take them as just another bike ! RC51 had it own character ! ! !

when did you last service your throttle bodies and you fuel injection, and also you airbox... you might want to ask your meck to take a look...

btw where is the shop u sending to...?

make sure ur throttle sync is ok, very simple job $70+ if not wrong, it check ur injector fuel take weather in line.-*i might b wrong* might b quite normal if ur bike able to run after 3 sec on holding the throttle, i think cold start every bike have this problem, our bike dont have anto choke on for cold start unlike latests bike. that y theres a choke for it our bike...my bike use to hav this problem, i need to open throttle to 1.3-5k for at least 2 3 sec even now so engine wont die.

thanks for ur advise. lol i tried that choke but still give me the same problem if i dun open trottle abit during cold start. just try to tahan this small issue until next servicing loh. as long as bike still able to move haha. i also now just hold about 3sec when cold start den my engine stable at 1.1k

I send to global motor do my bike. u got any nice recommend on which bike shop good in servicing sp1? btw wad does flapper valve removal and pair system removal is? i went to research but still catch no ball. =(
