I send to global motor do my bike. u got any nice recommend on which bike shop good in servicing sp1? btw wad does flapper valve removal and pair system removal is? i went to research but still catch no ball. =(

 

By disconnecting the vacuum line to the flapper valve in the air intake duct you can completely eliminate the hiccup at 6800 rpm & reduce the power dip we have all seen on the dyno runs between 5000 & 7000 rpm.

 

As the flapper valve is an air intake noise control device which is not used on the basic racer, but rather only on the street legal bikes where noise levels are monitored by the EPA. It is advised that you only do this mod to "race only" bikes. quote from Rogues RC51 webbie...

i personally experience the "dip" before i took out the flapper... its just like u have a hiccup when u are revving hard between 6000 - 7000rpm... then it will burst forward. the flapper valve removal eliminates this problem

 

Removal of the PAIR system will yield three main benefits: 1) weight reduction 2) reduction of engine compartment clutter 3) increase in the scavenging ability of the exhaust system. From Rogue RC51 webbie...

 

scavenging is the process of pushing exhausted gas-charge out of the cylinder and drawing in a fresh draught of air ready for the next cycle.

count me out, not in town, going to end of the world liao, wether so cold in bkk, should b hot like hell during march but not...afternoon 23 degree & night 18-20 degree only....indoor is much warmer.

every bike shop has their bad reputation at least. correct me if i wrong. I go there because my elder bro intro me. so far still ok for me. Unless you guys got any bike shop to intro which their mech is pro at doing our SP1. =)

i bought one big bottle of Maxima 10w 40.. 3.875 litres.. only $74 or $76.. cannot remember.. spark plugs i bought from FJT..

I have no confidence in SG's dyno tuning after so many negative comments from my friends. If ur Engine "Piang" while they are doing dyno.. i heard the bikeshop will nt be responsible for it.. if im really so into my bike's performance.. i will rather ride up to KL there and let them do dyno..
