Hi bro.. congrats on getting your bike..maybe SP1 n SP2 riders can get together go 2nd link pump petrol buy ciggies for smokers and at the same time clear carbon.. hehe

Okie, hi all. SP1 rider here too.

had the bike since start of 2003, been riding for the whole of 2003, but seldom ride anymore after 2003.

 

some different between SP1 & SP2 mainly is the fuel injector system, swing arm longer.

 

there are still alot of SP1 around, juz need to look ard, but not much ppl selling.

 

used SP1 is ard 8k to 10k, depending on the yr of manufacture, the price 8k, i quoted is for 2002 production.

 

by right, the single seater cover should come with the bike, cause when i bought my bike, it comes with the pillion seat, then i ask the bike shop to ask the ex-owner for the single seat cover.

 

hope above will clear up the doubts everyone have about the bike.

ya, i still have the bike, but seldom ride liao, its collecting dust at the moment. haha

 

another thing owners should take note is the mileage. for me, its about 120 -140 km per full tank when i seldom ride, and about 140-180km per full tank when i ride almost everyday. the petrol intake is very high. never got past 200km on a full tank. oh, also, use onli petrol with 98 octane, any lower and you will feel a different performance of the bike, personal experience.

omg...what did u mob on ur bike...how ur ur fuel is like drinking water....jus for ur info...my ex sp1 will do 220km b4 that damm light come on...n i mean the speed between 110km/hr n 130km/hr.....i onli ride my bike in the weekend...sometimes i dun even get to ride it for 2 to 3 weeks....
