Expired License for Stolen Bike

Hi bros and sis, realli nid ur advice.

 

my bike was stolen since last year, you can see from my siggy. i reported to police and faxed a copy of the report together with a copy of my log card to LTA. There was a lady who called back to acknowledge it and asked me regarding the report. all this was last yr, somewhere in Oct 2007.

 

however, few days back LTA sent me a reminder letter to renew my license and said that if i dun renew i will be hauled to court and faced $2000 fine! The license has oredi expired.

 

i called up LTA and they say they nvr received, and may want me to fax in again. i tink it is ridiculous for me to fax again, esp now my company checking us very strictly (audit coming) and i dun want to go to post office on saturday just to f ***ed to them.

 

will they really hauled me to court? it is not my fault that they dint update their system. No way i m going to renew my license for that son of a b**ch who steal my bike! Hopeless LTA, realli rubbing salt to my wound!!! :cry:

why not you just go LTA and f them up.

say tht youre not using the bike but some a**hole is using it.

so if you dont pay road tax, one day the fella who rides your bike kena caught, you can tell LTA to shove the fines up tht guys butt

together with the other jail sentences.

Since ur bike is stolen, why dun u lay up ur bike? So even if rd tax and insurance is expired, u wont need to bother so much also..

Since ur bike is stolen, why dun u lay up ur bike? So even if rd tax and insurance is expired, u wont need to bother so much also..

ok, i refaxed to them. wat made me mad now is that i found a fax from them previously (dated Oct 9) in my files that they have acknowledged recipient of my fax! i m oredi so angry tat police cant recover my bike n now dis!

Since you have evidence that they've acknowledge recieving the fax then you have all the right to f them. If you dowan to fax, go down to LTA on Sat and give it to the person who called you.

by the way, any other idiots that i nid to inform, if not one day kena go to court and jailed for 99 yrs oso dun noe why.

if ur bike is stolen and reported to the police, the police will contact LTA to stop ur road tax until it been recovered. i feel you'll need to find out from the police whether they've informed LTA and if yes then you can fault LTA for not carrying out the necessary actions

the irritating thing is that i read up the posts here and informed LTA DIRECTLY, yet they still come to me with all those threatening letter.

 

cant help thinking what sort of computer system they are using? paper file or worse, human memory?

I've known people to just scrunched up whatever you give to them and throw into the waste paper basket.

 

Just fax the darn reports and papers and work on laying up that bike already.

wah lau, my amazing encounter with LTA has just reached a brand new LOW that you won't believe!

 

Last night I saw another letter from them, asking me to pay IMMEDIATELY for my stolen bike road tax. Angrily, I call them this morning and was shockingly told that by an officer that the record was not UPDATED! I blasted them for their tardiness and the officer told me he will get someone to look into it.

 

Just after lunch, I receive a call from LTA. You won't believe what they told me: they said the police report indicated my bike was MISSING. To them, they don't consider it stolen. they even have the cheek to tell me that I could have lend it to my friend... wah lau eh... what the f*** is up to with LTA. feel like slapping them! my ignition was ripped out and thrown on the floor and that was indicated in the report. dun they have brains??? bros and sis, I am so tired about this incident. any advice? :cry:

bro, go straight in their face n f them, if need to, use their phone to call the police station u report to n ask them speak to police directly.

 

really, this is no brainer, lend to friend can report police say missing?!?! police, insurance compy will sue u back 1st.

last night i went to NPP and put on my saddest and most disturbed face to beg them to do something about the report, since LTA said it is the report that is problematic. Guess what? the superintendent pointed out to me on page 2 of the report there is an indication that the status is STOLEN. he then faxed it to them again. he told me it is LTA's fault. This morning, receive a call from one Ms Lim. she said police never inform them. This is sucks men! I am going to write to LTA feedback to blast them for all these nonsense! so frustrated... pek chek...
