hi bandit owners,

 

i'm riding an impulse, close cousin of the bandit 400. we share the same engine block, brake rotor, exhaust and radiator.

 

looking forward to seeing you guys on the road. as far as i know, there are 2 versions excluding those with Valve timing. the 60hp (pre 94) and 53 hp ones.

 

i'm also wondering if the bandit 400 mainstand and rear hugger would fit my bike.....and the handlebar clamp for the non-clip on versions.

u can do w s759wp for ur valve clearance n carb cleanin n synchro for a reasonable sum..my bike sound super sweet now n just need to press the starter in the morning without needing to throotle

 

...or go guan hoe suzuki service centre but I suggest u buy ur spare parts at ks cycle along jln besar since they r the suzuki parts dealer....

 

anyways il be getting a gsxr k1to k6 suspension next month from ebay usa...just need to grind the wishbone @1.5mm n take out the coolant bottle n put somewhere else....currently mine us tied to my engine guard

Guys, I've got hepco side racks and junior panniers for sale.

 

The racks are only for a 2005 - 2006 Bandit 650, air/oil cooled model.

 

The panniers are junior 40L model for all hepco racks.

 

Boxes alone will go for 450 but if you get the racks as well, the whole lot for 500. Let me know ya (PM please).

yeay....i manage to install a 2009 gsxr750 suspension bought from usa ebay for S$114 on my old bike...able to adjust preload...rebound and compression damping...installed at guan hoe near bedok reservoir there for $45...

bought the whole set bearings and spacers for the below area for s$90 from KS cycle....coz when taken out the old bearings...almost one haldf eaten tru the bearings and the old spacers were being grinded...i guess neber changed for 20 yearrs?

...just need to grind the wishbone a bit by @1 to2mm so the round part of the bottom of the new shock does not touch the wishbone....the young malay guy at guan hoe was very helpful....also when installing had to take out the air box ...n fit the new shock from above...

also previously i had taken out the coolant bottle n put on my crash bar....so anyone installing the gsxr shocks take note

 

also prepare some washers @6pieces where the holes is as big as the bearings to go tru....coz if not the dogbones will hit the new shocks springs...n also for the bottom of the new shocks since it got a bit of leeway....

the new shocks feels as good as bitubo....super firm....with adjustable preload,rebound n compression damping.......n when goin over humps...u can adjust ur rebound damping so u dont get thrown off.....hope tis helps for our bros in bandits.....

I am thinking of getting a gxsr400 invert fork, for my bandit400, and also aware of riding positiom change and the decrease of ground clearance if i do so, any advice on this? Mmain stand most likely have to remove permenantly,
