I painted the frame myself with kangaroo paint and a very fine paint brush. Took 2 days to paint. The belly pan can be easily removed, as it secured by 3 screws only, no need to remove belly pan to change oil filter.

hi all, juz curious. how many different version of bandit 400 are there?

Philosophy A: Ignore what everyone else thinks. Riding is a better way to get around. Ride paranoid and keep your skills sharp

Philosophy B: Ride with somebody who's better than you. You will pick up a handy trick or new skill just about every time you are out

Philosophy C: You don't need a big bike to prove ur passion for riding

Things to check when buying a used bike

1. Check for adnormal engine noise

2. Check for adnormal clutch noise

3. Check for alighment, handle bar and wheel

4. Check for oil leaks, fork & engine

5. Check if sprocket and chain are worn

6. Check if tires are bald

7. Check all the electricals are working properly

8. Check if steering cone is worn

9. Check if brake disc are warped

i see cos now i using 20-50. Castrol Mineral oil. Last time i service no $$ to change to synthetic or even semi la. Now i clocked abt 2000Km already so i think better change la. this time i think change semi sythetic.

i think 20-50 too thick also. Cos cold engine change gear like not smooth like tht. only riding e'way for at least 20mins then smooth. But cool down again...aft coming out from e'way then not smooth again.

During the malacca trip all the way was smooth la. cos riding fast all the way.

I tried castrol R4, Elf, Fuchs Pro 4 and Motul 5100 but still find Repsol is the best.

20w60 is too thick for our bike. For our weather here, dun bother about the first number eg 10w or 15w look at the second number which represent the viscosity(how thick is the oil). The greater the number the higher the viscosity. For local use 40 or 50 is ok.

i was standing next to his bike for about 10min thinking waiting for the guy to turn up... then i went to meet my friend at the mrt station cos we were going to work... then give him a lift.. came back and stood at the bike for damn long thinking whether to off it and take out the key to put in the helmet or just heck it and leave it there... think think think then wait... then ah heck... off signal light, off engine, lock handlebar, pull out key, put in helmet...

waited to see if the person was somewhere around... maybe he warming up engine right? then waited to see if anyone shout OEI! but don have... so i left... almost late for work thanks to the joker.....

From then to now...
