Never try that. But try to stick to ester-based fully synetic oils. That Rock oil is quite thick going by specifications. WHich means your temp will raise more but will protect your engine more. BUt how much u can protect the engine depends on the detergent products in the oil. Depends on what you prefer, engine protection or operating heat. Try to find a balance.

sorry really can't make time to do diy stuff these days, already behind on schoolwork. >

 

btw i've had some mounting bolts drop too.. from the strong vibes when riding the NSH (abt 9-10k rpm at times). maybe you all can add that to the periodic maintenance too, check whether bolts are tight.

Kata-Killer, your bike makes me feel shameful. Wow, fighting with RVF, I bike length, u are the man. The RVF rider must be feeling shy to be chased by a bandito. Yeah, u should keep your bike. EVen reading about the mods on your bandit makes me salivate. Ha ha. It's so hard to keep 2 'wives'.

 

Shawn, anything. Just post when u feel u can be ready. Hopefully this weekend.

 

Niterider, I pray for u. CDI is one of the expensive stuff. For new ones, u can get from GH for $450, I think.

Wah! Sooo x ar! Anibody pushin their Bandit 2 bike shop can x-change their CDI wif mi. I willin 2 top-up abit provided it's in gd condition.

Cannot, cos last year i tried to use it but in vain. I got my new CDI from KS motor last year Nov at $420. haha....

U saw D RVF rider b4 1... He got to our bandit DIY session b4 1... last time, I win him pick up jialet jialet... then at top end, I lose abt 3 bike length. But nw, Better... Pick up almost d same liao, mid range win by 1 win, top end li lose by 1 bike length. Btw, I down my rear spocket size to 45 for my rear.
