Hi!

i just bought a bandit today..super shiok man..however, the throttle cable snapped..so i tolled it to the bike shop. in total, i paid $60 for it..is it worth it..

the breakdown is as follows:

$20 for toll charge

$40 for throttle cable.

please advise..thank you so much!

like bro stanco said.. the tow is cheap for $20.. and roughly the throttle cable is ard that price. normally towing is $25 - $35.

Hi guys,

Thanks so much for the advise. I wanted to ask you guys because the previous owner told me that the shop like to cheat his money, so I just wanted to confirm with you guys if the shop was trying to cheat my money. Thanks for your help anyway (:

Cheers,

Rasmus

Perhaps this sort of question has been asked one too many times, but I've been thinking of getting a bandit 400 to ride to school and work. My only concern is that with it being a pretty old bike, would still be advisable to buy? Are parts difficult to get should anything need be replaced? What about maintanence? I'm on a tight budget but would like something decent to get around with. Anything less than a 400 would be a bit too small for me. Are there any common faults in the bandit? What are the important things I should I look out for before buying one? I am really keen to know more about this legend of a bike. If anyone out there can spare me some time to tell

me more, do email me at [email protected]

much appreciation!
