S750WP, r u sure that our bandit can use gsxr shock from 750/1000cc bike...?

i thought of changing but i don't know how to check whether

if its still in good condition from ebay...

Need help...

sure, look at Techo21 bike, its a good example as per mention the battery need to shift back to make space, if don't want hassle buy those with remote reservoir which you can hang at the side of your bike.

For good condition, I suggest to buy the newer shock with low mileage.

Yup from what techo21 say go to Guan Hoe as the price is quite reasonable

as it is the Authorised Dealer for Suzuki bikes...

Change coolant (Use Redline waterwetter mix with distilled water, $18 can use 6times)

Brake Fluid ($7 a bottle can use 2-3 times)

Spark plugs ($7 ea can be bought from KS, the spark plug are good for 20k km)

Check chain tension (Bike shop charge $1 to do it)

All these can be easily DIY or pay JB mech to do it for you

For carburetor cleaning and tuning can be DIY if you are bold enough, if not go to GH($35 for cleaning and balancing), JB mech have no experience in tuning.

I am using the fully syn mobil one 10w40 oil from Esso petrol kiosk (RM28 per bot) engine and gear shift is still smooth after 5K.

All the above mention service I do myself, I planning to let the JB mech to do all the servicing, except carburetor, for this coming Sep (1 year from the last service), its worth to pay a little and I can sit back and relax and dont have to get my hand dirty.

Yes original exhaust will be cut, planning to let SK do the work for me.

Project to use Superfour end can aborted, the cost to customize the mid pipe and bolt connector cost $220 by SK

The original pipe will not be cut but the mid section will be removed, new stainless steel pipe will be fabricate for the mid section and weld to the laser cut bolt connector for the end can.

Rather spend the money on good tires and brake pads.

Techo21 did you cut the pipe to fix the GPR yourself?

Hey Techo21 after you change the exhaust any difference? The speed is faster? haha this is only the End Can right? so after you change it u must bring it to VICOM to inspect is it? I thought u just have to wait till your inspection day then go inspect. U also got the Cert right?

you can wait till your inspection or you can send it right away.. as for my case my inspection is still long way so i send it to avoid problems with the authorities. the speed wise during pick up is better and yes it is only the end can. and yes the pipe comes with cert. you need to have the cert in order for VICOM to inspect your pipe. and FYI the original pipe is way heavier than the GPR pipe.will try to remove the silencer tomoro to see if the sound will be better.
