Send in my bike today to Seng Motor at Alexandra to replace the fork oil seal.

Workmanship is $20 per fork, cheaper than Guan Hoe $45 (irregardless of 1 or 2 fork). I bought the parts from KS $44(2 dust seal cover, 2 oil seal and 2 clips) and 2 bottle 500ml of putoline 15w fork oil from LAB for $14. I'm using a heavier fork oil because I feel the bandit 400 fork is quite soft.

I haven received my bike yet, hopefully it will be ready by tomorrow.

Nope din manage to replace the diode inside because the spoilt rectifier is all molded into a piece, maybe need to use a hammer to smash it up or put in a oven to bake and melt it.

The bike makers are real smart, if not normal consumer can buy the components cheaply and make their own rectifier liow.

How is your bike now did your mechanic solve the problem yet?

Seems to me you got a stuck or worn needle valve, its located on the float. Try cleaning it out and see what happen. Cost is $140 for 4 pcs, I bought it last time for my 750 but then I got a new carb on ebay so left with 4 extra. I checked its the same with bandit.

The engine oil hose were cheaper than I thought, I bought it at abt 200++ for my 750 last time. I planning to customise mine with SS steel hose the next oil change because they last much longer, mind passing your old one to me as sample.

Just clean the carb yesterday with a full can of Prestone carb cleaner and did a carb syn today. Cyl 4 header is heating up like the rest now. :cheer:

Any idea can install a top mounting box for the bandit without the ugly looking rack. Saw from the the givi website some bike using only the baseplate only which is quite nice. :lovestruck:
