Bike Setup

Good reading hehehe...but how to mark my bike with tht win rack blocking the faring?

"Either compress or loosen off the spring to get into this range. The adjuster is normally a pair of rings on top of the spring. One of them is a locking ring and the other is the adjuster. You will need a C-spanner to make the adjustment. If you don't have one then a hammer and drift will do (animal!) "

And i tot my bike oredi at the most stiff settings?

Kenneth

PS: and ur new avatar :D turns me on muahahaha. testing ur suspension?

my old shock spolit liao loh, like bandit400 soft shock. Dunno bikeshop keep or reuse :cheeky:

S750WP, I cant see your shocks properly but think same as mine.

i mount the canister under the battery holder, drill 4 holes & cable tie to tie it. Quite nicely done (help by my technician if not I die die would mount it at the rear wheel). But if mount at the rear wheel there i think will hit the tyre if sink too low.

I cant use the C-spanner so learn from bikeshop use long handle screw driver and hammer to turn the locknut.

I just realised something.

I will be mounting my canister under the right pillion side at the rail. My gsxr750 rear canister is mount there too.

I will try to adjust the shock to the lowest preload before mount to the bike, then check the static and racer sag. Have you check yours already??

If not maybe can have one DIY session for bandit folks to check and adjust accordingly.

Kenneth measure and see how first, if out of the range maybe you need to change to a heavier spring, might be cheaper then to replace the whole shock. But then compression is not adjustable.

Hi kenneth,

About the shocks, I inquired at Bike Lab if they can rebuild

bandit 400 shocks. They told me they couldn't. So I asked them

what do they recommend. So they recommend me this shocks

which costs $1600.(and it was not even a Penske. Penske would cost

much much more)...I quickly put down the phone but not before

I said thank you very much of course.

Just to think that the shocks costs more than my bandit makes

me..:giddy:

How abt going over uneven roads(hump and pot holes), can the suspension absorb all the shock?
