No Street Triple at Mah leh .... one used red Speed Triple downstairs, one green one upstairs. Usual lot of Bonnie, Thruxton, Rocket, 675 upstairs. T-shirts at $70 (ouch). Don't

recall seeing Tiger.

The red triple downstairs was formerly black, FZ plate if I'm not wrong, and it used to have clip-on handlebars and not much else. Stock exhaust.

 

That bike has a rather high mileage... more than twice of mine...

The New Speed triple 675 looks quite nice esp e green variant. A pity it's not a common sight in sg thou but 4 sum folks rarity means being unique.

Notr bike is the new Aprillia Shiver 750, looks angular with 2 much edges but i like e 750 cc v twin engine. Any bros visisted mah managed 2 c this bike?

Sounds like SG is seeing more naked bikes on the road... Upz for the nekkids! Maybe one day someone will organise a European naked bike convoy, e.g. Speed Triples, Brutales, Tuonos, Monsters, yummy...

so far...outta the bikes u listed, i've yet to see a tuono...just saw a brutale again today...i dun see triumphs often...hmmm....

Come to think of it, I haven't seen a Tuono OR an RSV Mille on our roads yet either, although both are excellent bikes. The Tuono actually came out tops in the UK BIKE naked bike shootout 2 months ago...

hmm i guess i must have missed buying that issue...i think the most common aprilla i see is the 125s already.. 250s also seldom see them. so to say the tuono and RSVs...rare...anyway back to triumph, anyone going down to SBBF this weekend? is mah gonna bring their entourage of triumph bikes down?

Would like to stay longer but its the fasting month, need to go home to break fast by 7.05pm lah...

Was at Mah PL yesterday evening to change my clutch cable... NO wonder so expensive, $80 for the cable AND the cable housing. They don't come as separate parts! I've been using a Vespa cable as a temp measure recently, but I wasn't confident it would be strong enough to hold the clutch. It broke once on the road already.

 

Ah well, at least now I have peace of mind with the stock cable installed.

tts why they always say, class 2 bike, class 2 maintainence... add the fact that urs is a british class 2, u muz pay ur maintainence in pounds!!hehe...i pay my sch fees in pounds too.

Whoa... did you try our Yakisoba as well? I was hanging out at that booth for the most part of both days.

 

And yeah, that mean one could do with a little more pampering, but you're right, I wouldn't trade it for any other bike!

Anyone here ever respray their rims at Unique before? I'm planning to spray mine gold there, I was told it takes 3 days. Would like to find out more about their method first before I jump in. $80 per rim, total of $160.

 

Black and Gold will be the final theme of my bike, if $$ permits

i read somewhr tt unique sends their paintjobs to another shop to do...but feedback still ok...go check out the paint jobs section?

I already checked out the paint job section. No one is able to provide info on the method used by different shops to spray rims. Most people claim their shops provide cheap and good spray paint service, which is NOT what I'm looking for.

saw the new tiger and the speed triple on the road on sunday...

tiger was on marine parade rd heading towards parkway and speed was on the benjamin sheares heading towards the east.

 

mean buggers! makes me miss triumphs!
