Hi all... I am currently riding a Speed Triple 2012... I am wondering if any of you are experiencing this problem. Whenever I am travelling at very slow speed like going over a hump or moving off and am at gear 1 while half clutch and when I move off I hear "tiak tiak" sound coming from my bike but im not sure is it the clutch or chain problem. Quite worrying about this sound... Any advice?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a used triump speed triple, looking at the earlier models, before 2010. What is the price range that I'm looking at?

Straight road differentiate the rich & the poor

Corners differentiate the boys & the man

There's no born talent, only born determined.

To replace wear and tear parts of speed triple, would it be easy to find the replacement parts like Jap bike?

Thanks in advance for great advice.

actually no too difficult if you buy online from various Triumph distributors.

price is also quite fair including shipping.

when i was riding the Speedy, i got most parts online.

otherwise, sparkplugs are pretty standard, engine use good synthetic, brake pads use EBC HH for excellent bite. In fact oil filter, you can use Kawasaki ones, it can fit!!

What other wear and tear parts are you looking for?

Like timing chain..

What are the parts did you order online? Is it because those parts are not available locally?

Not really, but becos, its actually cheaper. Anyway cam chains last a long time. I dont think you will need to change it that often. Even the cam chain tensioner can last a long time.

At worse they may rattle a bit if loose.

just try jacklilley.com , they stock many parts with quick and reasonable shipping.

cheers

Hey guys! Where do the three hoses located at the bellypan leads to? I just notice my colleagues Triumph Street Triple pissing some coolant out from one of the hoses. Any advises?

Hi all,

Can anyone here advise if Arrow exhaust is approved/ road legal? Utz d twin under tail slip on exhaust

It is approved in the UK and also under the Triumph inventory list as a factory aftermarket.

but in Singapore, any damn thing is ****ing illegal. Idiots!

Possibly air in the system.

It used to happen to mine quite a lot also.'

Left hand side along the edge of the Fuel tank is the top coolant hose, along this hose you will find a bleed nipple to expel air from the system. Undo it by hand a few threads with the motor running, it will be hot and do not take it fully out.

If there is air in there it will bleed out, followed by coolant.
