anyone can recommend a good handheld portable mp5 player which uses solid state flash memory & can play rmvb files directly without converting? If it has a TV out port will be a bonus. Coz i got hundreds of rmvb movies to watch. :cheeky:

Latest info , finally found in spore, the SmartQ 5II ,pocket size 3" LCD rmvb player that can also connect to tv & is also a gameboy advance & nintendo emulator. Pretty ex, selling below at $250.

The next comparable model available in spore is Onda VX777, but read complains that it is not durable & although it sells much cheaper, there's no agent in office to repair.

The final & most cheapest is selling at the Amconic shop in Sim Lim Square, $149 , 4GB with TV outlet. The brand is unheard of , suny RM-10A, but warranty of 1 yr is available.

The SmartQ T5II is most powerful CPU , 600mhz, so when play high bitrate , dvd quality rmvb files, there is no lags. The rest are all 400mhz or slower cpu. Heard of complaints of lags during action scenes.

in case ppl dun know what so big deal about pocket rmvb player - there are thousands of free downloadable movies in rmvb format, in many china website.
