I got mine from Motoworld the last time.

 

They started turning yellowish and becoming unstuck after a few months. Ripped them off and never replaced the sticker since it did not make my bike go faster. Wahahahah!!

just received my insurance renewal letter from ntuc. i'm 26 and it's gonna set me back by $1024 after 15% ncd. anyone of similar age? this the quotation you getting?

 

or anybody with other insurance companies wanna share their premiums?

It saves you from being stranded somewhere at least

Haven't you heard about the additional discount for insurance?

Just call them up and register with your IC #. It used to be 10%, now 5%.

 

It could be another year before you renew your insurance, but you'll get the additional 5%.

GUYS, need your advice here. If i were using the street legal exhaust but i take out the silencer, what would the summon be like? Will they summon me for modification of exhuast ($30.00) or ($500) illegal exhaust?

hi..juz got saman by ROV this mth..no mudguard on my Fireblade!! Saw my slip-on without silencer..ask for cert and juz saman me for mudguard. Dunno whether he notice i got no silencer..this is not first time thou. If i can remember..this is my 3rd time stopped by TP or ROV..I'm lucky i guess..

For the coil burnt thread..welcome to the satay club man!! mine got burnt last year after 5 mths otr..Make some noise at Southern Motor cos dats where i bought 'em and they replaced me for a brand new coil at $300 plus inst..Very cheap price nt found anywhere in S'pore at dat time den..

Tashi : Does your blade have a metallic sound while the engine is running? Mine has this metallic sound on the right side, sounds like those taxi's idling engine.... Is this normal?

 

Does everyone else here have that kinda sound on you blade?

Tashi blade use one kind of oil to shut the metallic noise. I forgot the name la. But the bottle is transparent & got the axe logo. The smell also quite nice.

 

 

blade17fire u really lucky sia. I was caught 4 times by ROV for small plate number & no mudguard. 3 times kenna saman (all $100), 1 time warning. Now my plate number i change already. Even pilot from aeroplane can see my number plate.

 

Now just afraid that my exhaust turn kena aim..hehhhehhehe

Is your bike BS bike or parallel import bike ? If it is from BS,it's covered by warranty for a year & replace foc by them if it's still under warranty.Mine got burnt last year too but sadly after the warranty expired 2 days only .I was charged $300 for the coil + installation too.

Vector 1 is selling them.I think it's around $270.If with plug & play sockets,xtra.

My blade is a beauty, my pride and joy. Would love to meet up with you guys but work commitment and saturday being "keep the missus company day" prevents me from doing so.

Abang Chilly also managed to get that price then.

 

Wise monk had a burn out yesterday as well. Rectifier, coil, batt all gone. Apparently BS also out of coils. Have to wait 1 month.

 

If you're not using the 2nd gen coil, better go to BS and get a proper coil.

If BS out of coils,Where else do we have to source for the coils since most of them get it from BS ? Just cross your fingers nothing will happen or else your bike will be having a mth vacation Maybe send the burnt coil for recoil & stand by it for emergency purpose coz you never know when you will need it.

Haha, what kind of oil are you talking about? Axe oil is for rubbing on tummy. I think you're a glue sniffer.
