classic bike magazine has a feature on the guzzi's comparing a grisso and a classic v7 special....guess which one the liked better on a value for money and grin factor.

 

damn lump has not changed significantly for the pass 40 years.

I agree with you coolcat, the original 1974 V7 Sport came with a very innovative height and span adjustable clip-on bars.

 

I wish Moto Guzzi will put a 850cc engine into this 2008 V7 Classic instead of using the relatively "softer" small block Breva 750 engine.

i like it that they are offering the v7 with me33 and me55 rubber...just like what most of the old school stuff are still using today....

on comparison, the styling of the pipes are much nicer imho on the new machine, the slight kink at the mufflers just provides an extra touch.

a larger lump would be nice....

I have downloaded the factory service manuals of Breva750 and Nevada Classic750 for my free time reading, according to the speculation of Guzzi fans in the internet, the 2008 V7 Classic shares many parts with the above mentioned models.

Hi people,

Any one riding this bike, please offer some tips.

Especially the knee is near to the piston head.

May feel heaty.
