Moto Guzzi Lovers

Hi,

I just bought a pre-owned MotoGuzziV11Sport.

Similar to THIS -->>

http://www.autotrader.com.au/Photos/W63184731224.jpg

Here is my question:

Are there any other Italian Lovers ...ahem... i mean..... Lovers of sexy Italian heavy metal around?

I would like to know more about the Guzzi bikers scene here, aside from the Internet.

Any concrete workshop meetings, tech talks, etc. as we do it in Europe?

>> Any guidance is appreciated.

Keep on moving -GH- the great hunter

Carl,

where the f*** did you order your spare parts?

I get my stuff from a approved Guzzi dealer in Germany, within 2 weeks.

at reasonable cost.

Once you yellow monster is back alive, lets do a ride.

Lets go thru the PIE tunnel after Havelock Road just to hear the sound RrrrrrrrroarrrrR.

And afterwards riding thru Circular road - but sloooooow. :-))

Best regards , and send me a PM when you bike is finished.

Hi Carl,

Stein-Dinse is definitely OK, I used their German site http://www.sd-tec.de/

Price ok, delivery ok, quality ok.

Since I am travelling, I wont be back before 10 March.

Curious to see the yellow Monster then....

Nice bike,

I'm currently running a Cagiva Gran Canyon (Ducati 900 SS engine).

I understand that MAH in Serangoon Road is the Moto Guzzi dealer here in Singapore. Have you bought any spares from them? I am looking for an air filter for my Cagiva it is the same item as the VII.

If in doubt open the throttle!

hi Grant.. yes.. Mah is the MG dealer in Singapore.. but i believe the after sales support is not that strong.. i don't think they bring in spare parts for MG. I've got my spare parts for a dealer in Aust., do let me know if u need their contacts.. cheers..

Just found a K&N air filter that will fit the Guzzi and my Cagiva.

It's at FIAT part for a 900cc Siecento, the K&N part no is 33-2682.

McWell Ventures at UBI Avenue 1 have then in stock for $93.00.

If in doubt open the throttle!

MotoGuzzi V11 Twins meet at Orchard Rd

------------------------------------------------

What a surprise, when I went off from Orchard Rd into Claymore Rd.!

Opposite Orchard Towers, there was just an other MotoGuzzi V11 parked.

I took a picture, the black one in front is mine, the green one behind is it's twin.

May the owner get in touch with me, plz?

hi Martin,

Guess its time for our Guzzi to roar the town. Sorry, i've been quite busy for the past 2months, and the bike has been giving me problems.

As for the bike u saw at orchard, i have met the owner, and was told by him that he no longer rides it, he let his friend uses it. (What a pal!)

So now i have seen 4 guzzi around.

2 V11( yours and the green one)

1 RS Daytona ( a "ang mo" staying in Orchard area, nice guy!)

1 1100 Sport

Hope to see more pop around..

Hi Carl,

Yeah - we keep the eagle flyinghttp://www.ipcvision.com/page04/mg-eagle-01-250.gif

Next week, with National Day, I will participate in a 3d-2n tour to Malaysia's East Coast.

We will ride to Mersing by bike, and spend the time on Tioman Island.

Interested?

Besides that, a night tour to Changi Village or Punggol is always welcome!

Starting with a ride thru Orchard Road...

Come, meet with me and let's ride!

G.H.

Martin & Mike,

really eager to meet you guys and your bikes. i have just send the battery for charging, have not been riding for more than 1 month. hope i am able to start it after charging the battery.

Crossing my fingers now and hope we are able to meet up for a short ride before you leave for Germany, Martin.

Meantime, like i mention to Mike, do give me a buzz or sms if you guys are meeting up. i might be able to pop up to catch up with you, with or without my MG.

Cheers

Actually one of the 1st I viewed when looking for a class 2 bike was a MG.... after test riding it I knew I was not ready for it.... although I'm ready for it now, I can't afford it:cry: ... maybe in the near future I'll own a legend... for now I'll just look at one and dream of riding one....

MotoGuzzi keeps on flying - no need to do fast decisions.

Just keep on dreaming, and one day....you'll make it.

P.S. My Guzzi is being shipped to Europe in 2 weeks time.

One Guzzi less on Singapore roads....sad!

I will miss Singapore!

Picture: My transportation pallet.

Bike will be mounted on it,

and then fork-lifted into a 45" container,

with the rest of my household goods.
