when i on my pc there is long beep then pause then long beep then pause... keep on repeating.... any one know the solution... thx in advance.. :cry:

Need to know what BIOS you are using. But from experience, IT could be your RAM. Check and see if the RAM is seated properly. Use another working RAM to test.

 

Another that can be the cause is the Graphics Card. No display on the monitor/LCD rite? But most prob is RAM.

your motherboard is using Award BIOS?

 

should be your rams. reseat them first.

but i hope you have more than 1 piece in yur system.

use a piece at a time and test.

Slow down abit, smell the air and enjoy the scenery.

 

Caught the touring bug once again!

IBM/AMI, Award or Phoebix have different BIOS beep codes.

 

from what he said, should be Award BIOS.

 

best sound i like is when the CPU is burnt/spoilt or not seated properly.

Don't go and buy one first. Try to borrow one from someone. If buy, then diff thing spoil...waste money and effort. Usually its RAM or graphics....Try to clean the connectors by blowing or something...sometimes contact with the MB not good.
