What unique ppl told me is that the secruity screw only come with 1 pair of key, like ur house lidat, onli ur key can open ur house lock.. They'll install for u then u will keep the key yourself.. If u lose it den gd luck, got to use chainsaw open liao.. :cheeky:

Is the bolt and key look something like this?

Anyway I believe nothing is theft proof. Only theft resistance. It will take some time for them to take out the screw. There will definitely someone who can get a hold of the master key. Hahah Juz be kiasu. Put up all security measures.

In singapore that time I ask, they only sell 8mm diameter leh. I can't quite remember who brings this in. Can confirm if unique bring this in? Or if unique bringing in another different screw? Post pic, so people can see and decide.

I did approach one of the SBF Advertisers a few weeks ago. Price forgotten already leh. Got size one. 8mm by 60mm or 8mm by 45mm. So many you wanna check with motovation or equipment extreme. Forgotten leh heheh.

If not order overseas la only 4.99 pounds (excluding shipping). Motrax Security Bolt.

like that think after shipping still around half price of what the motordiams charge in Singapore.

Maybe we can organise a mass order........

Not necessarily. The motorshop maybe selling 2 bolts + 1 key thus the price of $45. This 4.99 pounds is based on 1 bolt + 1 key. So maybe cheaper or more expensive. That is why I ask for $45 how many bolts he get.

yups...

i got 1 key with 2 bolts for $45.. kind of ex.. and i got one extra bolt wif me...

Nah...I think it is a fair deal. You muz remember that if buy from overseas need to factor in the shipping cost which could be very ex since it can only be bought from UK.

ok but the thing is.. after i fixed it to my bike. i realised that its also secured by using a nut fitted at the back. I guess thieves would be able to take out the nut if not tightened properly... grrr... I have to agree that its only to prolong the duration of theives to get wat they want...

If you really wan secure, there are breakway nuts.

"Installed with a standard wrench, the nut portion breaks away leaving the conical portion."

Its more of a permanent fixture. So you still got choice

Bro, wad i heard from unique boss is that if you dun have the master key, the nut at the back will turn together with the nut so the thief will keep turning and turning until dawn but the nut will still not come out.. :cheeky:

If got extra nut maybe can put another yoshi on the left side and secure wif the spare nut.. :cheeky: juz for display purpose.. haha..
