I did it myself, the total cost of all the materials put together is about 200 bucks +. Takes quite abit of effort tho.

Can an E52 use the same bracket/mounting plate as the E45? Thx.

Feb '05 - Nov '06 ---> KRR150RR (FS7177Z)

Nov '06 - Feb '07 ---> CBR400RRR (FM3727C)

Mar '07 - Nov '14 ---> CB400SI (FT1733K)

Nov '14 - Now ---> NC750X (F******K)

If you don't mind 2nd hand Units... Go ride around Bike Shops... Seek the Shops if they have any to let go... I got mine from Vespa Joe (Next to Dexing Ubi) when I was building my S4 than... But there again... Most E45s are getting on with age, you'll have to spend a little time reconditioning them.

I have a glossy grey e45 with stop light available for 50$, working cond is 8/10 but exterior has some paint crack for keeping in store for sometime.

 

I believe he's looking for the Old School E45 Maxia and not the E45 Simply...

yup i dont mind 2nd hand units... what price range should i be offering to these bike shops if i happen to find them? haha

 

and a question on recondition.... do you mean like spray painting the box black to cover the scratches etc? it'll probably look nice initially... but will it flake etc then become even worse over time?

Well.. You have to ask Joe your self...

 

Here's what I did to mine when I brought them back...

 

~ Use MaMa Lemon to wash in side out...

~ Dry it over night....

~ Use Mothers vinyl cleaner to restore the External Plastic

~ Drill out the existing Cam.

~ & replace them with New Cams (Key Alike) from Mah Motors..

To Me....

I got it from AutoBacs... Under the brand of 3M.. It's the Cream type with a Yellow capping... It's really good... But I have no idea whether do they till stock them...

Anyone changed Coocase S48 Manual Key Lock replacement. I have problem opening the box as the internal locking device seem to malfunction. I need to press the button few times before it open. I have sprayed WD40 still the same.

I never use WD40... it sucks! Try GT85... Get some old towel... Spray into the key hole, joins, linkage generously... It should work, otherwise... go back to Chiap Lee for advise...

 

GT85 can be bought from Motorworld...
