I feel that there are too many categories. We should just limit to a few "obvious" ones. Here are my proposed categories:

 

 
Featherweight

• 250cc up to 450cc, no modification
  
• Below 250cc, any modification
  
• No DOT tyres
   
  Lightweight
  
• Up to 450cc, any modification
  
• No DOT tyres
   
  Superstock
  
• Any capacity, no modification
  
• No DOT tyres
   
  Superbike
  
• No restriction
  

 

450cc limit is set to allow supermotos and disallow 500cc 2-strokes. I'd be very interested to see a 500cc 2-stroke take part in superstock or superbike, though.
