Importing Choppers

Hi fellow riders!

 

I would like to ask if its possible to get choppers imported over from US. Or is it legal to even ride them here?

 

Bikes here look boring~

 

Are there any alternatives that are close to such bikes?

yes ... u can import them

 

but ... due to red tapes and documentation and etc ..

 

it will cost u more than buying it from the shops

 

especially if it is a model of one and only in sg

yeah yeah i saw tat one...

sit dwn wif my dad watchin tat ep...cool stuff they r doin there..

tat big daddy sure hav a very bad temper...haha

 

i guess e best thing u can get legal in sg is most likely a harley??

 

but i do saw a few very very special bike runnin ard sg...

saw one ww2 kind of bike...

also saw those kind of a naked bike tat is popular in jap drama...

 

i guess their owner spend quite a few to get them in....n maintain it..

It would be cheaper to chop or bob using American parts than importing a whole bike - check my bobbed Slasher in my sig pic....

yeah and most american bikes do not meet singapore vehicle standards. singapore imports most of it's models (all types of bikes) from europe and asia. there is a stricter exhaust and noise emission standard for european bikes.

Custom bikes are out of the question, as they have nothing even close to a silencer or airbox. *induction noise has a limit too

 

But what you can do is buy a Metric or Harley, and mod the heck out of it with the very extensive range of aftermarket products available. Be prepared to pay alot of shipping though.
