Hi bros,

 

needed some information regarding prosecution in court for speeding.If i attend court,was fine and suspend/revoke.does it mean that i have a criminal record reflect in my IC and does it affect job interview in future? needed help:cry:

you never sentence to prison, no record. but now hear wat yellow ribbon bla bla bla dunno how got affect job or not. it was suppose to be accepted by the community..... but to me like the same got ribbon no ribbon.

criminal records are for crimes commited ryte? is speeding a crime? dun think so eh? think its under traffic violation...

On the other hand, having a speeding ticket isn't going to prevent anyone from giving you a job, and if you list it, they might be impressed with your meticulous honesty and attention to detail. But will be a problem if the job is a courier or involves any company vehicles. Hope it helps. Cheers!

Don't think will have record. I learnt the hard way too, exceeded speed limit by 47km/hr. Court case + 12 points + $800 fine.

Speeding is a traffic offence, not a criminal offence.

to have criminal record you would need to be charged for offences under penal code.....

-speed will endanger your life

kena accident

-it will endanger ur pillion also

if the pillion dies they put the blame on the rider

-and endanger pedestrians also

if u langgar pedestrian n dies...u will be charged murder

IF you ever kena charge in court for suspend or revoke, you dun have to tell ur employer, unless the nature of the job you applied is under traffic.(etc driver, rider). Minor traffic offence will be wavie off the record after 3yrs.

 

It is very common to be charge in court over traffic offences. so dun worry.

 

In reality, during Spot check by police.. your IC will reflect 3 colour

1) Green - mean you are clean

2) Amber - you got record

3) RED - there is a warrant of arrest issue again you.

 

So dun worry... just ride safe in future.

ya..i know the consequences. but really regret.anyway been caught by tp along the kaki bukit via duct towards kaki bukit sat evening bout 5pm.usually speed along there...cuz that road don't pose any danger to pesdestrian mah.suai suai gana laser shot by tp from 170metres away.somemore i only speed on that road,and first time saw tp stand by there. ask to give chance he say cannot.

now waiting for letter.hai.......

I believe traffic offences only becomes a criminal charge when it is classed as Causing death by rash or negligent act. Basically, if you kill someone in an accident, you may be charged with this.

 

Another way is to be charged for Contempt of the Authority of a Public Servant. I believe you need to be super KL before you will get this. Try throwing your shoe at the Judge see if you kena.

 

Lastly, False Evidence and Offences Against Public Justice. If you say flip-word in court about a traffic accident, and there is proof that you lied. Probably not going to be applied unless the accident is serious.

Dont worry,maybe u will get fine,maybe u will get kantong.or both.

but IC wont have any marking since it just a minor case.

even prison wont get you any marking on IC but only on some cases.

 

Like CLD,CT,LT...

Wise like Boys home,RTC,DRC,Prison wont get your any marking on IC but still if you been scan,your record will pop up.

 

like 1,2,3

 

First is Boys hostel,Boys town,PTP,Boys Home,RTC.

2nd is DRC

3rd is Prison,QRP,CLD.
