I bought a Vespa turn signal switch. Wires run internally. $18plus at Tong aik for replica Taiwan made ones. Got a tiny push button switch for the horn. Not sure if it's possible for u guys to use it tho,cos I'm using 1inch bars so got more room internally. Or u could simply drill holes on ur bars and tuck the wires inside.

i saw 2 Night hawk, 1 is 15 years old, asking 2.1 k(the one in sg sale section), another one is 7 years old, asking 2.8..

 

whats the market price like for these?

anybody know? please advise me...

 

i saw in the past is like 1k... in running condition...

i am looking for one that good engine, with no cosmetic...

coz as we can see..i will be changing a lot from original look...

But are the bikes in pristine condition?

No offence to the sellers....

Sometime in Yr 2008, I've seen a 7 - 8yrs old Nighthawk at a bike shop at Bt Merah asking for about 1.8 or 1.9k. Condition I would say it's quite good and worth the price.

 

However I did not buy $800/-. Engine wise not much prob, but outlook reali bad.

 

Initial intention is to do up the bike to those vintage outlook, but eventually I didn't ride it for long and sold it off aft abt 6 months of ownership cos I can't stand the vibration of the handling during traveling speed of about 80-90km/hr......

 

IMHO, the engine for Nighthawk is consider 'bullet-proof' (Depending on how the previous owner maintain it though)......

Why not consider modding a night hawk 750 instead...more power and i know someone who takes real good care of his bike who may wanna let go his nighthawk 750 if the price's right...i believe they are very rare also....(what i noe is that the bike's engine is in good condition...attached photo from the web).

This should give you some idea on how the internal of a W650 muffler looks like. Left side being the engine side and on the right side is the silencer tube that you are having problem with

looking at either the RXK135 or CG125 since it's the one of the more affordable ones

 

Any comments or suggestions or maybe recommendations for other models?

 

I got a 2A but havent ridden since 1995.

 

Looking forward to start again and maybe join you guys for meetups.
