yap, that's my bike.. was working for the town council previously, thus the label. not advertising for them though.. its to prevent car park attantents from summoning my bike.

Holla bro carl . its a good idea tho on preventing the parking attendance from summon yr bike lol ... nah my bike nothing compare to yrs ... yr bike is awfully gorgeous .. wonder where u get the old skool housing cover ( no idea what it is called ) for your front nos. plate ??

that was iusse by LTA during 70's

ya.. like what Cpt Marco mention, its the number plate holder. its a very old acessories, no longer in production. i got it at a bike shop yrs ago, it was fitted on a very old bike, can't remember the model. paid like $10 for it.

 

u might want to try old bikes shop, so might still have it, otherwise keep a lookout when on the road, i've seen some uncle bikes still have this on..

I paid around $30++....Brand new set...Maybe can try Chai Heng,They ve some Master Cyl kit too...But not sure if it's the correct parts....

Oh Marco!

When you visit them either kwong soon or chia Heng make sure you bring sample. I think Kwong soon shld have what you want.

Hi all,

Recently I got a 2nd hand cb400f carb off from ebay.

The carb look quite nice to me and I bought 4 set of keyster carb rebuild kit from ebay to

rebuild the carb. The carb is fully rebuild( change every part) and clean. But once I install the carb onto my bike, my bike fire up right away(My old carb cannot get my bike start).

 

But once the bike start, the RPM will run up to 2-3k..After a while the bike just die off.

I can start again with few kick but still encounter the same problem, the bike just cannot go to idle mode.

 

I already try to adjust the idle screw (the main one), but seen no different.

How do i sync to make it right?Btw i got no vaccum meter.

Now the bike can start with another carb but just wanna make this carb right as i dun want to throw money into sea( spent alot of money to buy and rebuild this carb)..

 

Really need help on this issue.

Pls advise..

I had this problem once before. Either your timing is not correct or one of the carb has some blockage. Could be a combination of both too. I think the CB 350 uses contact points right? it could be your timing is too advanced.
