Legal or not? The horn will sound super loud then the original one right?

Definitely. Loud horn saves lives, and this is definitely true for bikes. anyone can teach or help install horns here? my horns are way to soft.

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a bike, and that's close enough.

could consider electric horn instead. they are rather loud and are street legal. Air horn is not legal

a popular choice is stebel magnum II twin horn, that can be bought from LAB or Mustafa or some of the advertisers.

DIY will cost 20 odd dollars, go to shop cost probably below $30. save yourself the trouble and pay a little more if you can afford it.

stock horn is indeed pretty soft. especially the big cars with sound proof comfort and good sound systems (been in a few merc and BMW before, car horns sound like whispers, let alone our tiny horn)

that's all i know. hope its useful.

mustafa selling at decent prices but u gotta DIY ur self..

i feel its definately worth the money

stebel ones range from $16 to 25

hella ones range from $45 to 55.

using my ears as a benchmark, i put my money on Stebel.

seriously, electric horn is good enough. made my pillion jump when i honked a blardy van that never check blind spot.

for drivers that bo chup, any horn is pointless. I've horned drivers who try to cut into my lane and squeeze me out, they pause for a second, see its a bike, and still insist to squeeze me out. geezes!

juZ wanna ask... my bike I took over from previous owner got a switch for very loud horn, how would I know if itZ electrical horn or air horn? coZ the original bike horn gone le, press press oso no sound so left with that loud horn so how do I differentiate it if itZ electrical or air horn hehe

But seriously, loud horns helped me prevent some avoidable accidents hehe

I think air horn is illegal in Singapore......

theres tons of diagrams just for stebel horns in SBF and alot of threads about it bro.

Or can google already got alot of diagrams.

What you have to take note when DIY wiring urself, would be the relay outputs.make sure u get them correct. :cheeky:
