this is the best pic so far I got on p200 pipe ... reasons for me to wonder and to see how you and any of you guys out there manged to have done the 'tebuk' of our tec exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter!! ..... hmmm how interesting hehehehe

Bro MJ & glzco, what i did to my pipe was quite simple. This i learnt during the 2strokers years.1st, totally remove the "box"(donno the scientific term). This will ensure more direct airflow/ pressure from the header. 2ndly, i removed at least 2 layer of stopper(donno the scientific term)which is just slightly after the "box".This is to ensure the pressure from the header is smooth.3rdly, i shorten the silencer, think from 12" to 3".( This is to ensure the db level is not too high & also to accommodate the extra pressure from the header.) The effect was abit more bassy tone from stock but more torque when over taking even in 5th gear. U guys may be more technical but for me, i did it thru experience with my 2strokers. I may be wrong, but had been using the same pipe for past 3.5years make me a happier rider. Even for inspection.

Basically it's the same way with the rest of the few seniors that have done the 'tebuk' when I approached them .. hehe

 

But truely for P180 and P200 pipes there are slightly difference in the material and making ...

 

1. P200 silencer are different in the making as shown on my previous 2 posts of the inside pipes. The way our bro Indon managed to do the 'tebuk' .. it looks more troublesome unless you have the luxury in time, tools and money.

2. P200 silencer pipe have 4 so called metal plates (valve) to control the db requirement. These metal plates need to be clean cut using blow torch if need to remove totally and need to reweld if need to tune back to your taste and feel. So to fine tune it .. time and money comes in.

3. New glasswool also needed to replace the old one once you removed the stock for insulation and absorbing vibration.

4. P200 is stainless steel and to cut and rewelded quite costly too.

5. last not least about catalytic converter .. hmmm maybe due to our bike are small the effect is minimal BUT if every motocycles and other vehicles removed the catalyst .. then our environmental will NOT be a singapore environment friendly anymore hahahahaha ... :faint:

For those who removed the TEC is becos they want the pipi to have a free flow similar like the after market pipe but just to minimal extent only. If we want our bike to it's maximum performance using the current stock engine .. the first thing that we need to modify is the engine itself. We need to bore up and stroke up, port and polish the inside parts to increase the HP.

 

Currently what ever we have done here ..by just changing coils, filter, stabilisers or even free flow pipe .. that is just enhancing only! Unless we did the above mentioned stated plus with the enhancing accessories, we can achieved like what the Indon bros bike managed .. previously I did posted 1 example bike from our Indon friend increasing his 200cc to 224cc.

hahah .. in singapore yes lah but if you afford too who wanna or can do the job hhahahaha ..

 

there to do and labour is very cheap but postage and shipping the most issues here ..

 

Option to have it done ..

 

1; sent your engine parts there and have them do it for you .. problems shipping cost and couple of wks need to take public transport!!

2. buy new engine parts from them and have them do it for you and later ship here ... problem here labour to down and up engine!!

3. buy 2nd hand from them and ship here .. problems as no 2!!

4. hmmm accept what ever we have and enjoy the ride!!

5. buy bigger bike if you want power and speed!!

 

hmm as for me ... still looking and reccee at other options when ever I got free time ... enhancing what ever I can as long as I'm happy with it heheheh

 

Presently what I feed on my ride .. and happy with it

 

1: Left coil - Original Yamaha YZ 125 4SS with 9Power stabiliser

2: Right coil - Protect V3 with TDK stabiliser

3: Protect AirFilter

4: EXR Eletronic Booster to stabiliser the current voltage

5: XO Regulator - to stabilise my EXR booster

6: NGK CR8EGP x 2

7: Tora2 Fuel Additives - 3-4 drops every 15L (objectives to have clean piston head and other parts .. prooven and recomended by bajaj chief mechanic in Indon)

8: Mobil2 FS 10W40 - every 4500km intervals so far

9: Xado mini lube Turbo for EO - every EO intervals

10: Xado Revitalizant x 3 scahets - completed 1 cycle treatment (every 6-8 EO intervals)

11: Xado Anti carbon x 2 - completed 1 treatment. (shall do in Every 20 - 30K intervals)

12: Anti carbon x 1 - engine flush ( every 3 cycles EO intervals)

13: Sinnob Sprocs 15 39

 

Next simple project coming soon..

 

1: KNN open port with breather - on hands already waiting for items below

2: P200 stock modified gear shift pedal - waiting from India

3: Ported carburator Slider - waiting from India

4: Ported cams and engine parts accessories - still on discusion with Indon
