SIAN....

just had my 1st ever accident

light was turning red so i slowed down and started to brake

just then my rear wheel locked and skidded...

 

 

aaargggghhh .. really sad lah to hear bro .... so how ? .. any injuries on you? ... your bike should be ok right cos crash bar and side boxes took the most impact? .. ....

 

hope all fine ... but to skid and falll that's part and parcel that are always infront of us ..... take careto all bros

lucky was in full rain gear

and my side boxes and crash bar took the damage

now my right mirror loose and twisted,scratches on my head fairing,right side box lots of scratches,right crash bar scratches,right balancer scratches,front and rear brake not as effective...

only scratches on my left knee from rubbing against my jeans...

but got a bit of swelling on both knees

Good to know you are safe bro. But how does the rear wheel get locked with drum brakes? Disc brakes will be even more scarier..

how come my torque is 4-5rpm, always achieve my good fc there

 

Try 6k RPM, it will be even better .

My rear drum brake is so ineffective that even if I stand on the lever the bike will just slow down but never stop fully, so have to apply front brakes.

the lights and brackets cost me 60+ without workmanship. i installed helmet lock too since i don't have the bracket for the box anymore. heh.

 

the racunsss that you and all other pulsar riders here have been providing are keeping my passion to ride this bike longer alive lah! Thanks everyone.

 

bout rear fender and belly can, i am interested in the one that alvin mentioned in a post in feb. the black colour one. or also the one that you posted together with side fairingss. it looks tasty! just not sure how do i go about purchasing them and having them installed. :/

mine going to change soon .. similar like P135 but aftermarket one hehehehhe

 

at present my aftermarket ninja 250 rear fender consider quite long so the rear hugger is hidden when view from rear .... heheheheh

its raining so hydroplaning might be a factor also

i will post pics of my gear later tonight

my scratches on my knees are caused by my knee rubbing against the inside of my jeans

my jeans no damage at all...

was wearing my rain shoe cover and the right side was totally shredded off...

nope .... not bike cos any bike you ride .. chances of skid and fall like said when times to happen .. it will happen!!!

 

actually imho the right word is time to upgrade riding gears ... like armoured riding pants and jackets!!! .... it minimise or even prevent the injuries!!! ... hehehehehe

 

Always shook my head when looking at few riders habit on the road .. when rains comes they will change to slippers from their current shoes just to have the shoes dry rather than their skins or flesh clean IF or DURING FALL ... slippers won't prevent the skin!!!! ....

Thankfully ur fine Bro. =) Had mine 3 months ago, with Fazer 8. Hmmm... I seem to pick up confidence thru the ABS system, could try that during ur HUNT for a class 2 Ride =)

Yeah Bro, Previously my Maxia Give Box save me tons. Investing in side boxes is worth while in any Class of rides.
