Confirm it's only engine oil and not petrol ?

If I have to guess, it looks like Engine Oil. Petrol evaporates quickly, so it cannot make a such a wet patch in such a big area.

Speed, that looks like a lot of loss of engine oil. At that rate I would have to top up like half a ltr of EO everyday. I hope you are not riding with low EO. That will screw your bike badly. Buy like a couple of bottles of mineral oil and keep topping up untill the issue is resolved.

An update on key making prices, in case anyone else needs them, I thought I'd share with you.

Remember, you MUST have at least one spare key ! I have a total of 3 keys for my bike : 1 I use daily, 1 always stays at home, 1 is in the bag I use when I go to Malaysia. Please, do not exit the country without a second key, anything can happen to your key: you can loose it, twist it, break it, forget it somewhere.. you don't want to be stuck somewhere because you can't start you bike anymore :slapforehead:

What I paid for copying my keys:

- copy of P200 key : $4

- copy of medium size normal lock key: $1

The guy at the shop was very quick and welcoming. :thumb:

Now, I need a key cap, something like this :

Which shop in SG you think are selling cute / kickass key covers ? :o

saw it somewhere, like those shops selling toys n girly stuff, cant recall the shop name, u'll have to hunt around, some shops dont stock up on these once they're sold out.

ebay has some collection of those.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

Yeah the shop besides Ah Boy. I went to ah boy to get a cheap crampbuster ($4) - thanks to whoever pointed out they were selling them. But it's very small compared to the original crampbuster I have.

And it reminded me of Dejaxxx when a few pages back he said he got scared at ah boy lol.. They do look scary when the shop is sup[er busy !

On another topic, I got a question for you guys : why is it that when a car driver makes a mistake, they NEVER apologize ?? In 1 year, only ONCE did someone lift their hand to signal they're sorry to me. And this goes for all sort of dumb things, from entering a major road without checking, bullying me out of my lane, turning without signaling etc etc.. I horn at them, and when I overtake and look at them, they pretend they're looking somewhere else and don't even make a move.

In Morocco, people drive anyhow. But, if you horn them or they do something stupid, they will make a hand signal to apologize, they sometimes even catch you at a stop line or traffic line, roll down their window, and tell you "Sister/Brother, I'm sorry I didn't see you there, sorry..". So as much as we can curse at people and be very vocal about how much we hate someone on the road, when we screw up, we try to be honest about it and apologize.

But here in Singapore, it's amazing: people just pretend nothing happened !!! They keep that straight face, it's seriously completely crazy. Is it that whole "I don't wanna loose face" thing ? If that's the case, it's a bit too late, 'cause I horned at you so hard you already lost your face and some more.. so apologize and be a man ! (yeah it's always men - go figure.)

Dun always need a sparee key to start our pulsar. I've learned how to hot wire our bike frm a mechanic. So simple for unsecured key ignition system like our pulsar.

various reasons, u dont want to be accused of raising ur hand n mistook for showing third finger.

or sometimes u missed it.

ever encounter someone who tailgated me closely, i had to leave a very big gap, the driver got frustrated n cut my blind spot. i was so angry n catch up to him. he roll down his window n said sorry with a straigh face.

then there was another recent case where this driver was behind a line of cars, he suddenly cut into my lane, i e-brake n horned. further up the red light, i stayed behind him. saw him raised his hand.

sometimes when i make a mistake, i'll just raise my hand, but really dont know if the driver saw me or not.

Happened 2 me few years ago Indonesia, when me n my relatives hired a driver to bring us where we want 2. I noticed d driver was driving at 140-160km/h at 2 lane small road where theres traffic. I cant seemd to fall asleep n kept hanging on one side. D amazing thing is dat when d driver horned, d vehicles in front of him gave way. When we passed by that vehicle, d guy smiled n waved at us. Its amazing.

And yes, ‘amazing’ is a good word to use. Do not be blind 2 think that Singaporeans are ‘friendly’. We r all human beings.

Dun be sexist oren..even female drivers are equally as bad. Its juz e culture here whereby e cars dun care abt bikes..dey feel good tailgatin ppl god knows for wad as if dey pro racer..if dey so pro go nshw la show their skills. Everytin in sg is rushed..so bein courteous is no longer impt. Culture in sg is reali bad. Take for example in aussie..even when dey board buses e busdriver are always nice. And when ppl alight..there's this courtesy to thank e busdriver for ur safe ride. Do u c dat happenin in sg? :D

Oh please, don't talk to me about sexist.. this thread is so full of sexist macho comments it takes a really wide opened mind to not take offense... I just said it was usually men, because the general stereotype is that it's female drivers who make mistakes on the road, but that's really not true.

Yeah agree that SG isn't a very friendly courteous place.as a matter of fact, people here like to present themselves in the best light possible, but the truth is, people a very rude, they cut queues, they don't help pregnant women and elders, and they only say thank you and smile at you when they have something to sell you. Otherwise, in general, the common attitude is rude and no courtesy in public places.

The fact that drivers don't care for bikes is a worldwide thing, anywhere you go, cars don;t pay attention or respect to bike riders. But saying you're sorry is about education, not road practices.

@arthur_chan, I can assure you I don't miss it... the car turns into my lane without any kind of signal or notice, trying to bully me out of it , I can tell you the guy doesn't even make a move to apologize.

Anyway, I find it hard myself sometimes to be polite and courteous on the road - when you get this kind of treatment daily , day after day, it draws you to the dark side, and you start wondering why you'd bother - why not be chaotic too and not care about others..?

COURTESY STARTS FROM HOME ... IT'S YOU THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!! ...

For others it's their choice to be or not to be .....

Like in Transformers .... Optimus Prime best words

Ironhide: "Why are we fighting to save the humans? They are a primitive and violent race."

Prime: "Were we so different?"

Prime says,

"Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing."

Prime says,

"We've witnessed your human capacity for war. It would absolutely bring more harm than good."

Megatron: "Why throw away your life so recklessly?"

Prime: "That's a question you should ask yourself, Megatron."

Prime says,

"You hold the key to earth's survival."

and many more ..... kekekekekekekekekekekeke

JULY BTMO watch it out ....... Transformers 3 will officially be released July 1st 2011. That’s final. hehehehe

if everybody has such mentality, then in the end nobody cares. someone has to start the ball rolling. on the road, u have to learn forgive n forget. it's a war out there n everyone is rushing to their destination. end of the day, u just want to get to ur destination safe.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

is it possible u're in gear that's why cannot start? i had this problem when i'm in gear 2 n i step down the clutch, neutral light is on, but actually still in gear, thus when i let go clutch, bike jump n dies off.

In the 1 year that I have been riding I have never had any trouble with a car driver. I respect them and give them way when I know they are faster than me and they respect me and allow me to overtake when I am faster than them. May be because I ride only on Expressways? I lane split all the time and ride bang in the middle of 2 lanes but never had an incident where a car jumps out in front of me without signalling. I find car drivers here very predictable. Hmmm strange, when I hear stories on this forum.

@Fredd, Singaporeans are much much better compared to Aussies. Aussies are can start a quarrel in the middle of the road pull out a knife and stab you. The law there isn't even strict enough to deter those thugs.
