duno, perhaps it's the design of a compact swtich that there isn't place to put. anyway ug3's switch uses magnet, it also seems strange to have a manual lever.

Shops will always be expensive. Try to source directly from a buyer. If you have time on your hands then you can look for those who are leaving the country and want to sell ASAP you can get a good bargain. Otherwise the ball park for 4 yr old pulsar is 2.2k. Condition of engine is more important that outlook. Some people may like to keep they bike shiny and polished but dont know anything about the internals of the bike and may miss EO change etc which is more dangerous.

 

TVS Apache 180 RTR and Bajaj Pulsar 180 are almost similar just like Coke and Pepsi. Just like Pepsi not that popular in SG. TVS not yet that popular and is new so you may have difficulty in finding spares etc.

 

serious matter: it's cheaper to get direct from pte seller, but do bring along a pro who know more or less what to look out for a used bike. there's some guide somewhere in this forum u might want to look at.

 

getting from shop is more reliable, as they will give u some warranty, so if any problems just go back to them. more hassle free i would say.

 

ultimately it's up to u if u want to save the cost. if u're a newbie with nobody to help u, try to get a 1-2yr old with low mileage.

The stock choke lever comes on the left side handle bar. But it is possible that your previous owner has modified it and it on the left side below the carb.

 

that is the stock for UG1 and 2

for UG3 and above all located at the carb

just now on the way home at a pedestrian crossing got 2 STUPID CHINA worker stand at the side of the crossing talking while the green man is on and not crossing the road

then after the red man came on and green in the favour of vehicles they started crossing the road

i horned them and one of them hurried across the road while the other stopped in front of me and stared at me as if it was my fault

i was soooo pissed i raised up my visor and shouted at him "Don't know how to see the lights is it!!!"

then he walked across never look back...

they want to reduce china's population go ahead and do so at other place and not in front of me...

Saw a yellow pulsar at pasir ris.. With side flaps. He said he got it from ah boy and asked then to fix or something. Those side flaps like the super4 are using. Should that be cheaper than indon's side flaps?

 

A particular person on this forum painted his bike yellow and then sold it. Maybe the same bike.

erm, i beat all pulsar's fc eh.

what bike am i riding, erm, u guess la.

i know for a fact wave's fc is comparable to mine n is the top bike in fc, n no, i'm not riding wave.

 

Agree, the Wave, X1R, Spark etc all the kups have better FC than the pulsar because their weight is less. But then if you take the tank size into account and FC per full tank then Pulsar wins hands down

@oren: he just mentioned printing a4 size $10.. The quality is not that bad. Dry fit, and cotton like Sbf. Slightly thicker than Sbf cotton. But that's just 1 source. I haven't check out other places..

hey, later the meeting point, is the taxi stand itself ? I've never been to causeway point so I saw on google street view where the taxi stand entrance IN/OUT is, but couldn't find OCBC. I'll go there a bit early to not make you guys wait for me if I have troubles finding, but should be fine.

there are 2 taxi stands

1 on each side of the mrt station

if you don't see ocbc at one side

then its on the other side

I have always been wondering why bajaj put that round plastic gasket. Haven't seen it on any bike. What is its use other than causing a leak?
