Hey MJ - I'm interested, and I have a few questions:

- hoe higher does it raise the handlebar (cm) (I'm worried about some of my DIY wires going to the handlebar, maybe they'll now be shorter)

- Foes it need any special work on the bike, or just plug and play (sort of, I mean by that the mech won't have to do anything, no drilling etc)

- How does it affect the riding style, if they can give you feedback. I suppose the riding posture will be a bit more straight up, and the handle bar should have more freedom around the tank

- Is there another piece that can be plugged on top ? Either a horizontal bar or something else. I want it to attach accessories (iphone/gps, gopro). I saw the LAB ones, but it doesn;t look very sturdy , and it's a bit thin so maybe you can see what they have in stock in Indo ?

I used a chrome super 4 handlebar before. Just adds a couple of cms to the height. No change in cables. But riding posture is better for my height.

As in you're taller or shorter than average ? I find that the current stock height is perfect for my height. I think the Pulsar was designed for tall people, whereas a lot of other asian bikes are made to make people with a shorter height more comfortable. But I have only tried the cb400 so I'm probably just saying rubbish..

i think its Awesome Braking System... Think its a matter of your experience. And one important aspect of ABS is - it lets you maneuver your vehicle (specially a car) while braking hard. I was driving a volvo once -- coming downhill at 130 and as I was coming into a turn there was a slow truck bang in front of me. This was 2AM and pitch dark. I saw this at the very last instant and since the car had ABS, i could slow down and also change lanes..

 

Well, after that.. my dad almost slapped me, and forced me to pull over into a rest area and take a nap. But yeah.. ABS is not All Bull Sh**

cos the wires cut nice nice length to fit the stock bar...

I am 191cm 6' 4". And i feel the stock is perfect. If there is a better world, i am game to check it out.

Handle Riser for P200 if anyone of you interested ....

 

I'm in contact now with a new suppliear in Indon Sumatra.. for this item and other accessories for Pulsar and FZ16 ... but for now I'm trying to bring in this first for me and if anyone wanna share the shipping with me .... do inform me as I'm trying to bring in 2 or 3 first.

 

Will update on the actual cost ... at present with the weight mybe around $40 or less maybe ... need to see the numbers to finalise ... tks

3 of my MY friends aldeady tried my p180 last year. all say "its pretty damn comfortable! but if i would ride 110km/h for long distance,i'd fall asleep".

yes, u need one.u can apply at the toll just after clearing MY customs. i think the min is RM10. if u drive, better put more amount cos theres another toll at Sungai Besi. anyway will sms u after i cleared MY customs around 5pm.

I think there are 2 aspects to it. 1 is how tall you are and another is the riding posture. If you are short but like the leaning riding posture you can still have the handle bars quite low, like the P220.

 

I hate the leaning posture and like to sit upright so I like the cruiser style handlebars. Pulsar stock handlebars are good enough for me but after a long ride I do feel the backpain and would love to have the handlebar a couple of inches higher like the cruisers.
