What color is it ? Did you change the tyres ? Are you putting a box on it ? Do you wear a Full Face helmet ? Do you have a riding jacket and riding gloves ?

Just curious about the important stuff :cheeky:

oh well, I just jammed break!

she slowed down as if she was pulling over n never signaled, so i thought she's gonna stop n i proceeded slowly.. i usually slow down near flat areas as people/old folks have the tendency of crossing the road abruptly..

she too jammed on her break.. when i made eye contact she hand signaled to say sorry.. i just gulped down my anger in an instant n shook my head to acknowledge... well.. after all some times we too misjudge n make wrong decision...

yeh bro, need to be more n more cautious on the road.. when i reflect on my riding days.. I can easily say there's atleast 1-2 motorist who does a mistake endangering my life on the road.. pretty scary

relax bro, at least that driver knows she's wrong, n hopefully she learns from her mistake. this kind can forgive.

Haha, Your question is funny. You are asking whether Pulsar 180 is more problematic than Pulsar 200, which kind of implies that you are assuming that Pulsars are problematic and you want to know which of them is less problematic

To clarify your doubts, spend sometime on a few of 593 pages for our bike. If the bike was problematic then we wouldn't have been a team here for so long, would we? We would have sold our bikes long ago and got some other bike and moved on.

If you google you will find problems about all bikes. Pulsar is just like any other bike, that if maintained well(which is quite effortless) then will serve you for a long long time and save you a lot of money as well.

Cheers!

problematic, pls specify clearer. no bike is perfect n all bikes r problematic, google up which bike no problem i go buy ;)

although this bike has some hick-ups, i would advise u to look at the pros. if this bike suits u, those hick-ups we can live with it.

anyone buying a 2nd hand bike, i would advise to have at least $500 spare for emergency. for all 2nd bikes, it would depend on how the previous owner handle it. if u read about 1-2 page back, mjbs64 posted he saw a FBF needing a full spocket & chain changed. my bike, about 5yrs, no major problem, overhaul 1 time cos of worn out parts. so it all depend on how the owner take care of his bike. good luck sourcing :)

Hi,

Welcome to SBT

1st of all if you have any questions about pulsar do ask here

we will share what we know to the best of our knowledge and also share our experience with you

if you have the time do read through the pages(i know is a lot) and you will find that we do really share and not bluff around to get people to buy pulsar

there are a lot of comments from other people who don't ride a pulsar and give their opinions on pulsar being a lousy bike

of course there are also pulsar owners who don't take care of their bikes then need to overhual and say the pulsar is not good

from personal experience seen pulsars going for overhual cause of piston jam

owner did not change engine oil for almost 20k+km

open up the EO is already dried up...

so bike problem or rider problem...

so what to decide we can't make for you but we can give our honest sharing with you...

Hey guys, time for the logo - T-shirt survey results !

We are looking at a PANTHER logo with the words "SINGAPORE PULSARIANS" on a Polo T-Shirt, along with Stickers, possibly reflective ! :thumb:

Hope those who voted for other things won't be too disappointed. It's difficult to have a common agreement on all things, so hopefully once the logo is designed it will win everyone's heart :cheeky:

Thanks everyone for participating and helping the decision making process, it's been very helpful !

Here's the results in more details, there was very close choices, but in the end we are able to see 1st choices:

yes, i won't lie to u, those initial batch have some gear box issue, but only happen to some ppl. they still can live with it, however i've not encounter. still dont know if it's rider or bike problem.

like i share

in the end is bike or rider problem

you can get a new bike but you don't change EO for 30k km

what will happen you can imagine...

some times it is good to have some knowledge of how some stuff works and what is it used for

this will help you to maintain your bike well

for gear box wise we are all complaining here that pulsar should have a 6th gear

haha
