i open alot of time liao.. port light one side spoilt, Open. aftermarket headlight spoilt, Open, port light nv put properly open again!! hahaha

 

haha u pro then.. is p180 the same? to remove headlight assembly need to remove 4 top screws, 2 side screws, then 2 or 6 more inside the assembly impossible to reach de?

p180 ug2, mine only got 2 side, 2 below. open liao!! and can access everything inculde headlight.

Hey lao jiaos..i having some doubts and problems with EO, been riding for about 500km since i got my bike, 2nd hand of course, when i just got it EO just changed, now i check EO level is below the cross hatch...proper way of checking...warm up engine....let it sit for a while after turn off...level ground...quite scared of either EO leakage or the piston seals jialat liao...anyway how often do you guys top up in between the 2000km EO changes? maybe i just never top up often enough? haha!

 

i think the 2000km u talking abouit is changing of EO... not topping up of EO...

 

of cos changing means draining off your current EO den top up fresh de...

my light i did it at UM light bulb cost 2 dollar and open the head assembly cost 3 dollar.

very very few holes.. and the holes very small.. think they improve the road conditions liao

careful there. make sure never leave the engine oil low. as someone says, no need warm up to check engine oil. just don't put side stand when checking engine oil. my bike got same problem when i bought it. i whacked2. nvr check engine oil. then i realised my engine is swallowing my engine oil finish. then after a few weeks, poof! overhaul. lol...

not top up. change. try changing it. if still got drop after a few days, talk to the guys at UM. and don't whack throttle. cos that time, they accuse me of whacking throttle, that's why got this problem. i just have this gut feeling that the previous owner never run in properly.

pay so much for what? both my speedometer and tachometer got no lights. still can see at night. else, just listen to the purr of the engine to know your current speed. waste money only change bulb.

i just saw one blue pulsar with red fire stickers on the tank.. and if i'm not wrong,

i was riding with another of u guys at the bend from SLE to BKE.. hehe

Thanks for the heads up firefox! i think the previous owner did not run in properly also, so the piston rings never seal properly tts why when engine braking the vacuum created sucks the EO into the combustion chamber!?! i don't know, i just topped up a little bit and ride it for a while, see how it feels...i just hope nothing happens to my precious engine!!

i'm using DID gold heavy duty chain.. if i'm not wrong is RM45.

 

as for sprocket, depend in what u want? better pick up? higher top speed??

 

chain lube... any one can...

 

engine oil... from what i see in the forum.. most would agree with Maxima..

as for me, me haven't try that lah.. cos i often use the cheapo engine oil..
