The 1st thing I did as soon as I got my bike is change the Engine Oil. Next thing is open the air filter.

 

Here's how Phantom's air filter looks:

 

 

 

Not sure whether the color is like that or the air filter is dirty. It looks like a paper filter.

the spares there are quite affordable also cause of the exchange rate...

for example, the diaphragm is rp 14,000(according to the price list on the bajaj indonesia website)

take the exchange rate of S$1 = rp 6900

its only $2.028

 

then go batam also for massage and seafood...

bro alvin .. remember the items I ordered from india using ur account .... the diaphrgm and ported slider is actually cheaper and since it's ported, the diaphrgm turns out dry during carb wash twice and Ah Tek told me that it's a good sign as most will be wet and thus need to change as it's already expand.

 

you can do mo for this item if members interested .... hmmm actual price I forgot already but it's cheaper than stock diaphrgm here and it comes together with the slider as a set .. lol

for now i am checking with ultraspeed side on if he has any of the more common spares we normally get and if can we ship over definitely is the best option

for batam side would like to personally drop over to have a look 1st then see if can make any arrangement to do shipping

benefit all of us if they can do shipping...

 

one more thing

i found out if we can clamp the mounting clamp for the cam on the handlebar itself near the holding area the vibration is less than compared to mounting on handlebar brace...

currently experimenting with my new mounting

update soon...

some more common ones like diaphrgm,clutch cable,throttle cable etc

for the cam, try mount it near the mounting clamp there...

but need u bolt clamp...

was riding on BKE and there was a jam

when i rode pass the accident scene, caught a glimpse of what looks like the rear wheel of a class 2 sports bike(blocked by the EMAS vehicle and TP car)

and then saw the blue police tent...

i guess is the rider...

Yupp, sold it yesterday to an Indian Expat. No regrets. It was making noise in the 5th gear. There was also a different kind of growling sound that occured when closing throttle. Had oil consumption issue, had to top up every 2 weeks. My phantom has done 85k kms but just crank the engine and listen to the thump it sounds like it just came out of the factory . This phantom is going to be with me for a long long time
