Green light turned red at counter, parked and approached a staff, cleared, pushed bike back together, got scolded.

hi bros and sis. i just bought a pulsar 180 ug3. just curious, is there a way to lock the helmet to the bike without using a box? i think the bike look very fierce without a box. i don't want to spoil the fierce look with a rear box... (i used to ride scooter, which look perfectly good with box)..

 

also, appreciate it if there's any tips for riding this bike..

 

i'm collecting the bike on tues, looking forward to it =)

guys got a lil story to share, was coming in from JB y'day to sg immigration..

 

i usually take the biometric lane to clear immigration but y'day forgot so went in to the normal counter area.. from a distant I saw a counter at distant which was empty and seemed to be the last counter as others which preceded this counter were 'red crossed', when I neared the counter suddenly it changed to 'red cross' as well! so i just rode a lil further to find another counter but all others were not operating... and I couldn't proceed further to the biometric area as there were barricades erected, so gave some thought and parked the bike along one of the counter and walked up to the last counter where the 'green arrow' changed to 'red cross' and found one officer there and i told her what happened and she helped me clear my immigration procedure and got my bike no as well.. after that I asked her how to proceed as could't get my bike out from where it was parked... then she came out to assist and we started walking to my bike.. then suddenly there was this other lady officer who looked a like senior appeared from somewhere.. gave me a stern face and asked me to push my bike back without knowing what was really happening.. the i explained to her that i've already cleared my immigration... and then she asked the girl, who cleared me and the girl was giving her some explanation... she was pretty rude and then asked me to push back my bike to the counter where I did the clearance, so i just went back hopped on my bike and rode it backwards and thru the counter...

 

well nothing much with the what happened but something different from the usual so just thought of sharing in case y'll go thru such situation... cheers! ride safe

 

well,i have 1 of my own...

went in JB with my gf to pump petrol and wash bike...

on the way back to sg,at the sg immigration, i went into the biometric lane...

forgot that the biometric clearance with both rider and pillion only at the exit to m'sia...

coming back only rider...

so my gf was ask to alight and go to the biometric control booth to do her clearance...

while scanning her passport,the computer hang...

had to reboot the computer...

waited for almost 15min...

Bro i hook my helmet to my bike. Yknw at the end of the seat, there will be a metal piece that can be unscrewed. Its exactly where the box will be screwed at. Just remove the metal piece and leave the nut there. But please only hook on the left side when riding so your left signal light can still be seen!

just head down to LAB and get the helmet lock

if not just leave your helmet on your mirror and use a small padlock to lock through your d-ring to your mirror...
