anyone knows whats the rough price for transport from phuket airport to hotel near patong beach?

not sure want to take cab or what...

 

Went last year it was 600 baht. Dun pay any more than that. And rmb to take the free thai prepaid card from airport when u come out after passport clearance. Top up card can get at 7-11 or family mart

 

About the protec coil u reccomend me ah. Will it like spike up my fc alot?

What other options i have ah? If can please repost the protec chart. I Can't find it even after searching for it using search function

anyway still have to go back to UM to change out the seal..

if is the clutch gasket i think is about $8 for the gasket alone...

if you really no idea then recommend you to take up protec ultimate v3 ground for both left and right + tdk stab + protec ait filter + hurricane xcs...

there is another 2 coils in singapore that has been tried out but will cause the "dancing" & high rpm, need to re-route wiring...

Bro. I use the ultimate v3 coil ..but it does not suit my bike...giving high rpm....now i change back to left side stock coil & right side the ultimate v3 ......better this way for my liking..

If you want to try first , I can lend mine..still have 1 more...

U install on the left side , see whether your rpm goes high or not...eg...cruising @ 80km/h =8k rpm>>thats high..

basically your ignition coils provide the current to your spark plug to produce the spark for ignition...

for all electrical circuit there will be current surge be it slight or a lot...

the tdk magnet stab will reduce and take away this surge of current from your ignition coil to your spark plug...

hence your stable sparking...

 

the xcs hurricane volt stab,will help your voltage throughout your whole bike to be stable hence more constant voltage provided to all your circuits...

bro,this only happens to some bikes like i mention before each bike is different...

this is caused by the combine current draw from the coils affecting your rpm...

if you want you can do a re-route of the wiring that i put up some pages back which will avoid the higher power draw...

You can take a cab or shared minibus. Cab is 600B and shared minibus is 150B per person. So depends on how many people are there. If only 2 then mini bus is better. But Minibus takes slightly longer as it drops everyone on the way.

 

Also beware, that both the cab and the minibus will make a stop at a shop where the sell day trips. Its will be more expensive there and it would be better to just avoid them and buy the day trips at Patong.

Oren - what do you do to secure your bike during your trip? I am planning a Malaysia/Thailand bike trip over the Xmas/New Year time and the biggest concern for me is the safety of my bike. When I went to KL/Penang in the past, that was my biggest problem. Any suggestions?

 

Also, is there a way for me to take my bike from Mersing to Tioman? Or is there a place in Mersing where I can leave my bike and be sure that I will find it after I return?
