hey all, just a quick question. our mirrors, can use what other brand of mirror ah? Mine is UG2.0, any diff? needa go change mirrors, at 90kmph, i can only see my leg, cuz the stupid mirrors keep folding back n down.

 

i think i saw somewhere back yamaha one can use? or issit s4. sorry, i lost track of the page, quite far back i think.

 

speaking of which, will anyone be going UM later? think i need go change mirror liao, else everytime on e-way have to headcheck, not very the safe i feel.

 

i think you can just tighten the screws that hold your mirrors. anyway if you change back to stock pulsar mirror, its gonna cost $20 per piece. totalpet has changed his to an aftermarket 1... maybe he can tell you whether the thread line is yamaha or honda 1 better.

ok, will go try that out, but it's actually the mirror the balljoint loose already, so it swivels around the balljoint when the windblast gets too high. at least i think it's windblast combined with handlebar vibration, it works the mirror to pivot around the balljoint till it kinda folds into a more aerodynamic, heh heh, useless position.

 

totalpet, so, where'd ya change your mirrors, what thread and how much did it cost ya? information would be greatly appreciated, thanks man.

Hey guys, just realised yesterday i also got the same mirror problem. the joint is like so loose will fall out. pls advise where to repair the mirror.

 

I feel my bike vibrate quite a lot at 5500rpm but feels very calm at ard 4k+ rpm, so should I up the gear at ard 5k+? I heard its more fuel efficient at 5K+ wor...how?

i change gears before rpm hit 5k. guess its up to preference..

 

but according to my ear.. i think the sweet spot is between 4.5k to 5k rpm for switching of gears if you are just looking for a leisure ride. imho

if u r using the original mirror, look again the joint can be tighten.

Apologize for absent these few week... Kind of busy with work and life...

 

Now I back.... there a few thinggy that i will like to mention...

2) The DIY session for hazard light had being delay due to our both conductor who are busy with works... I will try asap to arrange with them.... apologize for the waiting.

normal yellow blub use in own meter is call T10. can be bought at any bikeshop. quite cheap only.. but taking the head pcs outside quite troublesome.

 

maybe u wan can one shot change all bulbs to led wan..

can MO page. look for a person called M400. he sell bight leds.

Think there is a 0% installment plan for credit card buying bike. Is there any charges like for admin? if not, quite a good deal/ can slowly pay without interest. thinking of getting card from dad and pay him slowly by monthly.

Whether 0 or 24% interest p.a., credit card debt is still a debt - spending $ that u dun have. I would only go into debt for a need, not a want. To me, a 2A or bigger bike is a want, not a need. So I'd rather save up for it than to go into debt.

If not wrong, Yamaha thread for UG2 without engine kill switch. For later models, Honda thread. For aftermarket ones in SG, think can buy for above $10.

From Gear 2 onwards, try up-shift at 5K rpm (lower rpm from 1st to 2nd gear). U can get 50km/L at 5K rpm in 5th gear, but can u tahan cruising at 60km/h (on stock gear ratio) nia? Even a conservative rider like me can't.

what he meant was to look in the sub forum under Product Mass Ordering. search for a thread started by M400. but anyway, i have done it for you. just click here.

 

usually the lights you wanna change (1 to 1), just pluck out the original one and insert with the new 1. unless you wanna add new light at places where there is no light (i.e. under your seat or any other places), then obviously, you need to wire it up to your battery, together with a on off switch if you want to.

there are three additional screws that you can tighten, near the swivel ball. tighten that one first.

tried that before for fun. was scary at first cos all the big lorries start overtaking me. i rode at 50km/h. feels as though the journey is super long but ok la. cos all the way chit chat with pillion.
