Good thing I went to ask and let them test, is actually not much difference with or without dB killer, just a bit more beefier sound and is still within exhaust noise spec in singapore, also some repo

thanks for the heads up!, will be viewing a HJC CL-ST tonight, some wear n tear expected but if all in good working condition, im getting it for $40 :)

 

 

@KittyCat: last week at adam's corner you mention cannot find crash bar for honda tiger...

want to try indon?

hahaha, yeah, initially was sourcing around for suitable crash bars, after scouting a few places for a while, realised that it isnt a common bike in sg, the hardpoints for mounting seems rather different as well. if import from indon, the shipping itself will likely cost more then the item! cos of the size and weight! lol!

 

any recommendations on who to approach for fabrication?

 

my little kitty kat: den wat about those exhaust placed beside the seat on other bikes? where they install a braket to prevent the panniers contacting the exhaust? the exhaust produce heat also.

 

true, after thinking about it abit more, it might actually be better for aircooled engines, cos the side boxes forces the airflow to be parallel to the bike movement, instead of leaving it open, where crosswind is normally encountered.

 

from the looks of the boxes, its mounted on the engine guards, an elegant solution to an interesting problem. hmmm...

there alot of parts different in UG4 frm swing arm to engines to cowling n fairing...than in Ug3.

 

yupz...

UG4 takes both P200 and 180 and combine it...

it should be using the same swing arm as p200...

Just to check :

 

Is the side stand for UG4 & P200 same ?

Thinking of replacing my current side stand....

might be able to ask my Indian colleague to get 1 for me ...
