All it does is make people register new nicks and start all over again. Doesn't inhibit any problems as emails are free.

Okay. There's something wrong as in when travelling around 60-80 kmph. There will be this scraping sound on my bike. When i reach home i check tyres, tires okay! But on mainstand turn my rear wheel. The chain gives out this ticking sound. Sigh. I'm lost for the source of the sound too.

 

Agree with Rev, I'd say it comes from the cam or the front sprocket. It could also very simply be that the chain is a bit loose now that it's done a good bit of mileage.

 

Don't freak out about overhaul. Overhaul does not mean trouble! Most of the time people use it after a crash because the entire bike's engine needs changing or after the bike has been used for years without maintenance. But to do a top oberhaul or an complete overhaul is just a NORMAL stage in a bike's life !

 

So don't freak out, it's just a scary technical word but it doesn't mean the bike is finished or that it will cost tons of money

Dont worry bro, CR8E is fine. Although our pulsar's specified plug is CR9E, CR8E should also be ok, its not a big difference.

In fact for Pulsar 220, the right side plug is CR8E and left side is CR9E.

 

At Ah Boy the CR8EGP(platinum) is cheaper, so MJ and others are actually using that instead of CR9E.

 

BTW, how much did you get it for?

Last tightening of chain was also during last servicing.

Last lube was less than 500km before.

Hope its nth big too!

how old is your chain and sprocket set?

any rust on your chain?

cause keep raining so need to constantly lube your chain more often if ride in the rain...

check the bolts on your tank and engine...

might just be loose bolts...

what is your shock absorber setting?

constant heavy load with the wrong setting and tire pressure will cause your chain to slack faster...

I just swapped my simply givi and maxia around. Now s4 is 52L and scoot is 45L. More balanced.

 

Tomorrow afternoon project is on. Gonna respray my s4 and the floor boards of my gts200. Also gonna sticker the cracked mud guard.

 

Costs $70 to replace. Think for $70 can change handlebars better.
