is it possible that when a tire is changed, it is not put back properly??

ever since i changed my tires, at a specific part of the tire i can hear a "squeaky"?? sound.. when i press my footbrake also at the area will have sound come out..

the ratio is not a number as there is no indication. is the mechanic's ears that tune it while revving engine repeatedly.

 

your speaky sound is likely the drum assembly inside got uneven surface and is rubbing (why does that sound so naughty? lol)

 

anyways.. tell them the squeaky problem, they will probably open it up, sand/grind on the uneven surface and air-gun the dust out.

your p180 on stock sprockets?

if i'm not wrong it should be normal. my p200 before i changed my sprockets used to hit 6k rev at 80km/h. it also actually depends on the conditions of the day as well.. if its a hot day the engine tends to sound more stressful while at time where the air is much cooler.. the engine sounds less stressful at the same speed.

Another thing. my fuel meter seems a little haywire, i know i just pumped full tank but the reading shows full bar at start up, then slowly drops to 3 bars(with the red light being on) then it reverts back to half tank... haha

Yep.. best to check with UM regarding this matter..

and i'll leave the recommendations regarding the sprocket size if u wish to change to the P180 riders.. they would noe better..

null did u just buy the bike? second hand? i also just did. and had that problem. the thing goes up goes down. went down even help me change oil sensor twice. still have the same prob. in the end he ask me ride ride see if still like tt after a week or 2 then go back. cos he dunno wads the prob. but as of now my meter slowly don't have such a prob le..

Anyone know whats wrong with my gearbox?

 

Sometimes when i'm in 5th gear.. all of a sudden my bike jus downshift to 4th gear.. Today was riding to work, had an empty stretch of road ahead of me.. so just whack.. suddenly bike jus downshift.. engine revs almost hit end of red zone.. it only happens when i'm in 5th gear.. anyone know what's wrong??

i experienced this as well. you probably just didn't kick it up fully.

 

might be just me, but my bike have to remind myself to kick fully from gears 1 to 2 and 4 to 5. well most of the time no issue with this at all.

 

if it still doesn't work after that.. means alignment of gear lever is off. that happened to me too. its pretty easy, just loosen a nut, pull out the lever and reinsert at another angle. trial and error

Wavy has given the solution for the problem. This is a well known characteristic of pulsar gear box. You need to kick the gear up firmly and fully. Nothing much you can do.
