Looks like P200 is still very new.. but i wonder the 1K diff between them is really worth it

Sis, I think the difference in price would be closer to $2K. U're downgrading from S4?

If u're referring to the whole tailboard assembly, only UM will have it. Price-wise, gotta check with them.

Just to share my thinking, open and subjected to comments and opinions

Mechanic at UM says my pipe need to weld, after riding my bike for 1 round. The header part.He pointed it to me with 1of the stock exhaust hanging at the ladder. He said must weld got weird noise due to the metal meshing inside. He told me very fast pass to other shop to do the job.Costs around $15 to $18.

Heres what i think-The metal meshing is made with alot of holes,to de restict the air flow from the engine. Thus causing power loss.

-I dont see the need to weld since the outer layer is fine.

-Unless you cant stand the noise.

-Waste of time and $$$

-FC is the same

-Better torque,cause better flow.

Reasons that cause it>Constant high revs, fast throttle acceleration.

Part 2

I told the mechanic, the metal meshing is to de restrict the power of the bike.Doesnt need to weld.I even gave him an example of an old model of aprillia of the stock exhaust end can.He just smiled at me all the way, without uttering a word.My guess is either he thinks that i am knowledgeable and right. If not I am a smart Aleck and totally wrong.

Symptoms-Bike rode for a distance of 45km.Stopped for 4 hrs.Start riding after a few seconds of warming upengine just died off by itself.

-tried starting a few times still cant work by push start

-pull choke and push start,on and off but up to 3rpm died off.DOnt turn on the throttle.

-start again thank god the choke worked as per normal

-start riding again,fine after that.

Happened afew times the quite similar process and encounter.

Went to UM,Mechanic dismantle the whole bike except the engine.Says can start, cant find the fault.Must put for a few days or so.Suggest that I change a new CDI.WTF.Ask me whether spark plugs, engine oil, wash caberator, battery in working condition or not.All of that i told him no worries. In good condition.Cause I changed all of them recently. All are of good qualities.

In the end its the diaphragm in the carbureator which is the 1 thats faulty.Condition it expands and got 2 tiny holes..Its made of RUBBER.Mine new bike, mileage 26k plus.A lesson of mine to share with you guys.

if it is a small hole at the right side of the header part i suggest dun argue go n weld cos that hole is actually for water evaporating purposes. but the inner pipe breaks, the exhaust air will leak from there so in the long run ur piston n block may lose certain amount of compression due to the extra small hole there and the afterwave exhaust stroke.

dun save $15 bux n over the long run spend time n money overhauling the engine. not worth it.

need more explaination PM me.
