I just called Universal motors. They said Givi Box 45 Ltr with bracket costs 100+ $. Isn't that cheap? I was thinking it will cost atleast 200$

but i can't get my brake light on the box to work

i tried tapping it as the same as my old zeus box but its not working

any idea how to get it working?

when i went with glzco to see on tues afternoon they quoted me $110 w/o brake light $130 w brake light

then i went back on wed night to buy was quote $105 w/o brake light and $115 w brake light

tried to bring down price but they don't want

bought at $115 just the box with base plate

2ml will go check

but the brake light connection is different from my old zeus box

the mechanism is like this

the wiring is only till the base plate

then from the base plate onwards is all like contact switches liao

need all to contact then should light up

but i contacted all and tapped from the same point as my old box still no light:cry:

hmmm ... tot of selling my M Fizz Flip up helmet size S ... anyone to take over to take good care of it while 'he' take care of your head lol.... 'he' did ever save my face before and maybe too my SplitFire ... remember my story of white poor birdie kamikazi while I'm riding at speed of 75 kmph

 

I'm opt for another Flip up FF soon ... so need to let go this baby

 

or I just go motoworld and trade this off and take 1 simple FF for my pillion first and later get my own Flip up FF ....

 

Condition Rating: anyone to give the rating ... since most of you seen before

 

Price: I give the hint already and if I'm in a good mood maybe hem hem who noes .... hehhee and haha I cannot give away for FOC too ... marketing strategy.

Another thing I noticed is Pulsar has very low OMV compared to phantom.

A phantom that is 6 years old has OMV of 3.5k whereas Pulsar 180 that is about 3.5 year old has about 1.5k OMV

Why so much difference?

 

OMV is the cost of bike to bring it to SIN, as u can see the phantom cost more... dats y u cant find one within ur budget... have fun with a pulsar!!

I'm going hunting for the Flip up later in the afternoon to look see look see first. My heart still prefers Shark but price sigh sigh and lookng at Scorpion I can't tahan .. u check the name model than you will noe why hahaha ..the name for me really tempting .. lol and yeah zues 3000A looks promising but (singing) my heart my heart my heart .... hehehe ...

i recomend u guys get d NGK iridium CR9EIX for ur left(if u sit n face the handle bar) plug, cost around $15. use NGK iridium CR9EGP on ur right. however, CR9EGP is hard to find. ive been using CR9EIX 4 a day n find d performance improved.

I love scorpion helmets - but motoworld does not have all their catalog. I wanted the yellow one, super bright, but they didn't have it.

 

MJ I say go with the Transformer helmet !!! And don't buy anything for Splifire for the next 5 months :cheeky:
